Research Proposal

Racism aspects and discrimination factors are deeply rooted in the U.S societies from

many centuries. Even in the modern world today, the race and discrimination factors persists into

the U.S societies. The United States is a diversified nation and its culture is mainly the

combination of several cultures. I have a deep down interest to research the reasons behind these

factors and why even in the global world today discrimination and racism features are sticking

with the societies. I want to search not only the reasons behind it but the solutions for it and how

these measures could be erased from the cultural norms of the U.S societies. Whenever I read the

news based on issues related to racism and discrimination I feel that I should research these

factors and aspects. These factors are developed as my keen interest in research.

I always consider the race and discrimination factors important because I am a person

came from a totally different culture and society into the United States. Here I figured that how

one person from a different nation has to deal with the issues of race. That is why I want to

research this topic and analyze the critical reasons behind it. I feel that I could be able to research

the important elements related to the topic and will be able to find some important insights. I

think it is an important topic and should be analyzed. I believe racism and discrimination

measures should be eradicated from societies like the U.S (a developed nation). I believe these

factors are one among the severe cultural issues of the U.S societies and should be ended for the

future cultural and societal development of the nation. I am familiar with many elements of this

topic, such as the issues of African Americans, issues of minorities at educational institutions,

and problems of minorities at work within the U.S societies.

I want to research the real and important reasons behind these factors of racism and

discrimination. I want to search that, why these factors are persisting in the societies and what

are some elements that are hindering these elements to eradicate from the societies. I want to

search that what should be the effective measures that could be taken to eliminate these elements

from the societies.
