 Its aim is to maintain & upkeep the hotel & to maintain
high standards of hotel.
 It have to co-ordinate with other dept.’s ; f.o., kitchen,
maintenance, f&b, stores for smooth functioning of
hotel.
 H.k. includes; linen & uniform room, supply store, office
& control desk.
 Control desk is the main area as it is the main link of
communication b/w the dept’s & handle calls, maintain
registers, lost & found procedure.
 Morning & afternoon shifts are done here.

different agents, brought stores, recorded
laundry.
 In Kitchen worked in pantry & made various
sandwiches, juices and shakes.
 In F&B did service & took order, billing of
Cinnamon, worked in banquets.
 In F.O. Learned to take check-in, escorted guests,
worked on Fidelio, filled forms, welcoming, call
handling.
 Overall learned a lot , the staff was very nice &
made me work as an employee. Built up a lot of
confidence.
