INDEMNITY BOND Cum Undertaking

I ______________ (hereinafter referred as Applicant),son of ___________resident of

_________________ hereby furnish an indemnity cum undertaking and bind myself, in
favour of Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited, subject to the following terms and
conditions :

OR director / partner / proprietor of ____________________ (Hereinafter referred to the

“Applicant”) duly authorized vide resolution/Power of attorney_______ dated
___________________ hereby furnish this unconditional Indemnity Bond Cum
Undertaking in favour of Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited binding the
firm/company subject to the following terms and conditions:

I (the Applicant) hereby undertake and declare as follows:

1. That the Applicant has purchased the premises bearing number

___________________from Mr. _____________on ___________________vide
Power Of Attorney/Sale Deed etc. ____________________dated ______. I have
become the owner of the premises and now in occupation of the same where
electricity is being supplied by Tata Power - DDL vide connection CA.
No.______.

2. That the Applicant has applied for change of name of the registered customer in
the records of Tata Power - DDL from the erstwhile/former owner Mr.-----------
(as existing in the record of Tata Power - DDL ) to Applicant’s name . I (the
applicant) have no objection to deposit of applicable charges including furnishing
security deposit amount as per prevalent rates as intimated to me by Tata Power-
DDL to effect such transfer of connection in my name.

3. As informed I could not obtain the No objection certificate from the former
owner, regarding the transfer of the amount of security deposit (as per records of
Tata Power - DDL) along with the amount of interest (as may have been
accumulated thereon till date) furnished to DVB or Tata Power - DDL as the case
may be ,despite undertaking sincere efforts and have requested Tata Power - DDL
to carry out the transfer of connection in my name out rightly after adjusting for
the said amount of security deposit and interest, on furnishing the present
undertaking cum indemnity bond.

4. That on the request made as well as the assurance provided by me, Tata Power -
DDL has consented to adjust the existing security deposit along with the interest
accrued thereon till date, against the total payment required to be made by the
 applicant in relation to his request for name change as per the applicable rates,
without insisting on submission of NoC from former owner.

5. That the Applicant acknowledges that the consent to affect the transfer has been
granted by Tata Power - DDL as a special case and is not meant to establish any
practice or lay down any precedent and the Applicant shall not claim or cause to
be claimed otherwise as regards the same.

6. That the applicant undertakes to indemnify and keep TATA POWER - DDL its
successors or assigns indemnified from and against all claims, demands, actions,
proceedings, losses, damages, recoveries, judgments, costs or expenses, which
may be made or brought or commenced against Tata Power - DDL or, its
successors or assigns by any person claiming through or under the said
____________and/or any other previous owner of the said premises or any others.

7. To indemnify and keep Tata Power - DDL, its officers, directors, agents and
employees indemnified from and against all or any amounts which TATA
POWER - DDL or, its successors or assigns may have to bear, pay or suffer
directly or indirectly on account of the adjustment of the amount deposited by
Sh._________in favour of the Applicant.

8. That in the event of any objection or claim or challenge made by a third

party(legal heirs)/former owner seeking the refund of the security deposit and/or
interest thereon from Tata Power - DDL the applicant undertakes to indemnity
Tata Power - DDL and its officers , employees , agents and to also make good any
loss, damage, cost or expense, arising directly or indirectly from such claim, that
may have occasioned to Tata Power - DDL and to also compensate the Company
for any inconvenience caused to or proceedings suffered by it .

9. That in case of applicant’s failure to adhere with the terms, conditions of this
indemnity bond cum undertaking it shall be open to Tata Power - DDL to charge
the amount of the security deposit made by former owner said Sh.
____________along with accumulated interest thereon and any other charges in
relation thereto through either demand raised in the consumption bills raised upon
the Applicant hereinafter or in any other mode. Tata Power - DDL shall be entitled
to proceed with disconnection of supply without any further notice in that regard,
on my failure to pay the said charges so demanded by Tata Power - DDL.

10. That the applicant undertakes to execute requisite documents, provide necessary
information and assistance to Tata Power - DDL as and when required. The
Applicant having become lawful owner to the premises as aforesaid shall be bound
by all terms, conditions as per the agreement of supply/energization executed by
the former owner, unless replaced by any fresh agreement/connection form if
required by Tata Power - DDL.
11. That the applicant acknowledges that sanction of the request made by it shall not
vest any right, title or interest in the Applicant.

12. That this indemnity bond cum undertaking shall bind legal heirs / successors,
administrators and executor of the Applicant
