amber zone located in the lower right part of the over-
head circuit breakers panel.
Most circuit breakers associated with systems which
are isolated during avionics smoke procedure are
located in the amber encompassed zone of the right
overhead circuit breaker panel.

GENERAL
Circuit Breaker Trip Monitoring (CB Monitoring)
Certain circuit breakers produce hidden failures if
tripped. These CBs have green heads for identification
and trigger an ECAM message (“C/B MONITOR
OPEN”) when tripped.
For operation with one of these CBs tripped the moni-
tor can be inhibited and is accompanied by an ECAM
MEMO, “C/B MONITOR INHIB."
These ECAM messages only appear on the ground
with both engines shutdown.
