Antipasto means "before the meal," and this antipasto recipe


doesn't disappoint. Serve up this antipasto of cured meats,
fresh cheeses, and herbs that will satisfy guests until the next
course is ready.
Bruschetta- thick slices of bread grilled, rubbed with garlic,
drizzled with olive oil, often topped with tomatoes and herbs,
and usually served as an appetizer. In fact, Bruschetta is derived
from the Italian bruscare, which means “to roast over coals.”
In Spain, Tapas are small plates of food that are served with
drinks or before a main meal. The literal meaning for the word
“tapa” is “cover or “coaster.
Caviar is pickled or salted eggs of sturgeon or other large fish
which is often eaten as an appetizer and is generally considered
a delicacy.
Amuse Bouche is a single, bite-sized hors d'œuvre. Amuse-
bouches are different from appetizers in that they are not
ordered from a menu by patrons but are served free. The term
is French and literally means "mouth amuser”.
