 Alternate to the Chairperson

 DRRM Coordinator
 Support coordination to the chairperson
 Acts as focal person for the Education Cluster
 Oversees the expected incoming disaster
 Plan and conduct preparedness on the different SDRR structure
 Monitor the conduct of the simulation activities on the different identified
hazard.

 Alternate DRRM Coordinator

 Acts in the absence of the DRR Coordinator

 Communication Officer
 Handles Media and public relations concerns
 Issues press release to update the public
 Ensures consistency in data releases

 Donor Management
 Coordinates all donor relations and management
 Generates donor tracking reports

Support Staff
 Finance and Administration
 Handles financial requirements of the operation
 Gathers reports on impact of disaster to DepEd personnel
 Over-all coordinator for assistance to personnel such as relief assistance,
loans, housing assistance, etc.
 Planning
 Consolidates all reports of different units and generates consolidated
official reports regarding the disaster
 Maintain directories of key operations people and education partners
 In-charge of minutes of meetings

 Operations

 Educational Facilities
 Over-all coordinator for concerns regarding educational facilities
such as classrooms, school furnitures, water and sanitation.

 Health and Nutrition

 Coordinates health concerns for DepEd personnel and learners.
 Monitors and gathers needs or handles concerns on health
(physical and mental), emergency feeding.

 Evacuation
 Coordinates concerns with regard to schools used as evacuation
centers.

 Recovery and Rehabilitation Initiatives

 Identify injured, casualties/damages.
 Keep accurate record of injured, casualties
 Provide recommendations

 FRT (Frontline Responders Team)

 Act as deployment team in time of emergencies
 Provide DRRM interventions to affected schools

 Logistics (Supply Officer)

 Provides Support to operations for transportation, communication,

warehousing, equipment and supplies
 Supply officer must keep track of all supplies and equipment
(including donations)
