What is merchandising?

Merchandising is the products or services that are visible and displayed in an appealing manner and it also
includes product display and packaging, as well as all the advertising techniques used to promote and sell
goods to consumers. Have you ever walked through a department store and noticed that everything is put
up in a specific place? If you have been, you already know what is merchandising, because that is exactly
a merchandising. The store has placed certain products in a certain position to catch the eye of consumers
and convert to a sale.

On the other hand, many customers desire for a specific product and for the fast growth of a business, it is
just appropriate to make those products easy to find. If a customer didn’t find the product they want, they
will automatically shop elsewhere.
