LOW BUDGET EXPERIMENT ABOUT SCIENCE
Specifically, How to pop a balloon using an orange peel?

INTRODUCTION:
Experimenting is to try or to test, especially in order to discover or prove something. It can also
satisfy your needs if ever your needs are like getting a correct answer about some of the topic
you proposed. There are some instances that students that can’t afford some of the experiments
that’s why they prefer cheaper experiments. One of the cheaper experiment is popping a balloon
experiment. This experiment does not harmed our nature because this experiment doesn’t use
chemicals or other things that is harmful. One of the advantages of having this experiment is that
it can improves your mental skills because this experiment needs some of our intelligence in
proposing an experiment. This will help you also to be a wise person because you choose this
type of experiment and this experiment is cheaper and it is not harmful unlike any other
experiments.

HOW TO PERFROM:
First thing that you should do is to get the materials that are needed in this experiment. The
materials are knife, chopping board, balloon and orange. You must be careful also in handling
these materials because there are knife which can be harmful but it depends on how the performer
used the knife. If ever the balloon doesn’t burst out then there is something wrong. One thing you
can do is that observe what is wrong and be patient until you find the solution.

LET’S TRY TO PERFORM TOGETHER:

Let’s do it through steps.

Step 1: Inflate the balloon. Step 2: Slice the orange peel.

Step 3: Squeeze the banana peel near Step 4: Finally the balloon burst. Then
the balloon as the latex in the balloon the last time you should do is to clean
dissolves in the limonene. the mess you’ve made.
Conclusion and Summarization:
In order to achieve success of the low budget experiment which is popping the balloon , one
must have complete materials and also he\she must know the steps of this experiment. As
you can see the balloon burst as the peel was squeezed near from the orange, it is because
the limonene contained in the peel is a hydrocarbon, like the latex that the balloon is made
of. Like dissolves in like, so the latex dissolves in the limonene, and that the balloon burst.
Therefore if you do experiment, you can learned some of the explainations about a particular
topic and it is very important because learning is the process of acquiring new knowledge,
behaviors and skills.
