Introduction

Electrical power quality is concerned with supplying and delivering electric power to end user

equipment in a manner that is suitable to the operation of the equipment. Many power quality problem

arise from incompabilities between electrical supply characteristics and equipment loads. This can include

power outages, voltages flicker (Power Engineering 2019).Electricity is the most versatile and easily

controlled form of energy. At the point of use it is practically loss-free and essentially non-polluting. At

the point of generation it can be produced clean with entirely renewable methods, such as wind, water and

sunlight. Electricity is weightless, easier to transport and distribute, and it represents the most efficient

way of consuming energy. Electricity is that it allows the energy available from primary sources of

energy such as water, coal, oil, wind and the sun to be harnessed and used to and for our benefit. More

importantly it allows such primary sources of energy to be used in bulk close to where they are available

as the energy obtained or generated from such primary resources may be stored and propagated within the

electromagnetic fields and transformed, transmitted and distributed for use in both remote or local

industry, commerce and homes alike thus avoiding transport of such primary sources of energy.

but long ones may be part of a natural disaster or other emergency when communications is critical.

Fortunately, a cell phone will work during a power outage, although users should remember there are

Background of the Study

Camarines Norte were energized, benefitting a total of 109,172 member consumers throughout the

province as of October 2018. This is composed of 272 barangays which now enjoy the ease and comfort

brought by the electrification. The state under the Electric Power Industry Reform Act (EPIRA) declares

the assurance and acceleration of the total electrification of the country. The distribution utility now has

the obligation to all its end users within its franchise area, to provide distribution services and connections

to its distribution system consistent with the Distribution Code. (Camarines Norte Electric Cooperative

mini hydro electric power plant as a source of energy.

Cell phones are a popular form of communication in today's society, students of all ages specially in

Rizal National High School most of Senior High School students have their own cell phone. Although

Schools have different rules about cell phone use and possession during school hours, with the majority

agreeing that they must be turned during class or banned from school all together to prevent them being a

distraction. But their cellphones also can be their needs weather emergency or time keeping. Cell phones

provide a convenient and direct way for parents to contact their children when they are at school, and vice

versa. If a student falls ill or is in danger, it is beneficial to be carrying a cell phone so he can contact

someone immediately Cell phones are also a useful time-keeping tool. They allow students who don't

have a watch to keep track of the time so they can be punctual to their lessons, and phones have an alarm
function to make sure they wake up on time each morning. Cell phones also have a calendar feature that

students can use to input homework assignments and important dates to remind them to keep on top of

their school work. Although cell phones could be disruptive during lessons if they were turned on, most

phones have a silent feature that means they can be left on and fully functioning without the audio

disturbing anyone.

Scope and Delimitation

This study covered the impact of electrical power interruption to the functionality of android phone as

perceived by the Senior High School Students in Rizal National High School. The other information

included in this research study is the basic information regarding on the topic.

The study limits for 10% of each class in Senior High School department which will serve as the

respondents to answer each given questionaire. Students in Senior High school will be given survey

questionnaire due to that the researcher cannot occupy the whole senior high students in Rizal National

High School in time.

This research study delimits the non-android users and ios users. It also delimits to computer since

the researcher only focused on mobile phones.

Significance of the Study

The significance in this research study is to give information about the Impact of Electrical Power

Interruption to the functionality of Android Phone as Perceived by Senior High School Students in Rizal

National High School.

This research study will benefit the following:

If this research study would be published, it will help the school by contributing manuscript that can be

used by the students.
