Postgraduate International Tuition Fee per UOC

Faculty 2013 2014
Arts & Social Sciences $540 TBA
Australian School of Business $735 TBA
Built Environment $585 - $650 TBA
COFA $530 TBA

A typical full time year of study at UNSW is 48 Units of Credit (UOC). UNSW tuition fees are
charged per course, and most courses are worth 6 UOC. The cost of each course is calculated by the
(number of units of credit) x (quoted fee). As an example, a 6 UOC course in an Australian School of
Business program in 2013 would cost (6) x (AUS$735) = AUS$4410. Course fees are reviewed annually and
typically change every year. It is important that you confirm around October each year the latest
schedule of course fees at: www.my.unsw.edu.au/student/fees/ScheduleTuitionFees2.html

A schedule of the indicative program costs can be downloaded at

www.international.unsw.edu.au/study/degree-programs/fees/
Total program fees in this schedule may change annually due to the annual review of course fees within
the program undertaken.

Refund Policy
Applicants who notify the University in writing that they wish to withdraw before they enrol in the
program for the first time, will receive a full refund of all tuition fees paid, less an administrative
charge of $500. The full amount will be refunded in cases where the applicant has not been granted a
student visa or the applicant is unable to attend because of documented illness or misadventure or UNSW
is unable to provide the program for which the applicant has applied and requests enrolment in.

Students who withdraw from the program prior to the census date for their courses in their commencing

3450443
teaching period will receive a refund of all fee paid less an administrative charge of $1,000. Students
who withdraw from their program after the census date for their courses in their commencing teaching
period will not receive a refund for fees paid for that teaching period.

A comprehensive version of the UNSW Fee Policy for International Students can be found at:
