ENGLISH AS THE NATIVE LANGUAGE AND ITS
IMPACT ON COMMUNICATION SKILLS
INTRODUCTION:

The concern of this study is to use English as native language and its impact on
communication skills.Language is life and communication is the heart of life.Human is the
ability to be socialized through conversation and language is an affective tool used for
comfertable social interaction. In real life scenarios, learning native language and affective
communication are life long process that provide apportunities for experiences “How to talk”
and analysis “How to interact by talking”. An affective interaction needs an affective medium
that shows the competency and command of the native speakers. According to
Fairclough(1989),The discource of communication is well connected with gestures, facial
expression,movement and postures of communicater.

Engling as native language has generative power. It engages communicators strongly. Native
speaker has an authority of grammer of his/her native
language(Chomsky,1965).Communicators in native language can understand the complex
notion of “giving and demanding”well.communicators work as generative variables.Native
language generates these variables on the notion of “giving and demanding”.In this proces of
an affective response, both variables are interact by exchanging, in which “giving” implies
“obtaining” and “demanding” implies “giving” in response. The relationship between attitude of
variable and native language innitiate supporting/confronting response.

English as native language is creative and original in its nature. English language
communicators are at ease with using English affectivly during social interaction.According to
Fairclough(1989),language is “a social process”.Learning a native language is also human
behaviour.Native speakers know the lingiuistc demanding during communicative
competency. They know well about “what the language is” and “what the language is
not”.Language is restricted some type of communication which depends on language
components and linguistics features(Richard, et al 1985).
