DETAILS OF COMMON ENTRANCE TEST FOR NON GATE /

NON GPAT CANDIDATES FOR ADMISSION TO M.E. / M. TECH.

/ M. PHARM. / M. PLAN. FOR THE YEAR 2019 - 20

The Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET - 2019) for admission to Post
Graduate Engineering, Pharmacy and Planning courses will be conducted at the
following centers:

1. L. D. COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING, AHMEDABAD

2. GOVERNMENT ENGINEERING COLLEGE, RAJKOT

3. GOVERNMENT ENGINEERING COLLEGE, SURAT

4. FACULTY OF TECHNOLOGY, M. S. UNIVERSITY, BARODA

Note : Candidates can select any one center from the given list for PGCET 2019 at
the time of online registration. Exam center once selected will not be changed
under any circumstances.

The dates of Common Entrance Test (PGCET - 2019) are 13/07/2019 and
14/07/2019. The discipline (branch) wise detailed schedule shall be notified on
ACPC website after completion of online registration and document verification at
help centers.

Any change in exam date or time or center will be notified only through website.
Hence all candidates are requested to regularly visit the website
www.jacpcldce.ac.in.

Rules for Common Entrance Test

1. The candidate may appear for more than one test/ discipline for seeking admission
in to various disciplines as per the eligibility criteria shown in branch equivalency
in Post Graduate admission rules issued from time to time. However, for each test
/ discipline, a candidate has to apply and appear separately.
2. The candidate shall have to bring Registration Acknowledgement slip cum Hall
Ticket for PGCET 2019 issued by Help Center of Admission Committee and a
Photo identity proof in original at the time of test else he / she shall not be allowed
to appear in the test.

3. No separate call letter shall be issued for appearing in test (PGCET - 2019). The
candidate shall have to remain present at his/her own cost as per the schedule
displayed on the website www.jacpcldce.ac.in

4. The examination number for PGCET - 2019 is same as the UserID / Registration
number allotted to you by this committee. These numbers are printed in the
Registration Acknowledgement slip cum Hall Ticket for PGCET 2019. If there
will be any change in the examination number, the same shall be notified on the
Admission Committee Website one day before the PGCET 2019 schedule date.

5. PGCET 2019 exam is only for the Non-GATE, Non-GPAT category students. All
the candidates must have to produce the original documents for verification before
the Admission Committee for Post Graduate Courses. Non-submission of required
original documents will result into cancellation of admission at any stage of the
admission process.

6. The test will be consisting of a single paper of 100 multiple choice objective type
questions (Four options with single correct answer) in English. It would carry one
mark for each correct answer. There will be no negative marking system in the
test. Non-programmable scientific calculator will be allowed during the test.

7. The maximum time allotted shall be 90 minutes for PGCET - 2019 (Engineering /
Technology and M.Plan) and 100 minutes for PGCET - 2019 (Pharmacy).

8. All the objective questions are required to be answered on OMR.

9. The candidate shall have to bring BLACK BALL POINT PEN to fill the OMR
answer sheet.

10. More than one answer indicated against a question shall be deemed as incorrect.
Any over-writing or cancellation on OMR shall be deemed as incorrect response.
11. The PGCET - 2019 for Engineering will cover the entire syllabus in the discipline
concerned with 20% weightage for Mathematics. The syllabus for each discipline
is available on the committee’s website www.jacpcldce.ac.in

12. The PGCET – 2019 for Pharmacy and Planning will cover the entire content as
shown in the syllabus.

13. Candidate shall have to report at exam center half an hour before the
commencement of exam and shall not be allowed to leave the block before the
completion of test.

14. General rules for discipline and code of conduct during the exam followed by
Gujarat Technological University will be applicable to PGCET 2019 exam.
