As a recent graduate from the the famous Shanghai conservatory fo Music,
Applica;on for the master I am eager to move forward in my educa;on in your ins;tu;on.
program in Musicals/ Singing
I would like to apply for your Master program in musical studies and
singing performance. I am a musically literate, well-spoken, and
enthusias;c recent college graduate from China whose greatest passion in
Zhongshan District, Dalian life has always been music.

China The undergraduate curriculum in Musicals and singing , [Shanghai
conservatory of Music], introduced me to a wide variety of subjects in the
field of Music performance. Various courses like Dance, singing techniques,
and performance provided me with a strong foo;ng in the music and
singing performance/musicals.

In addi;on to a life;me of collec;ng and listening, I have worked

extensively with local acts in both promo;on and staging, and am a an
accomplished singer, dancer and performer (Piano). I would be happy to
discuss this and other work experience in more depth when we meet.

While offering both depth and breadth across this field, these courses put
into perspec;ve the importance and relevance of music performance,
singing and stage management and the applica;on of its fundamentals to
the problems faced by the real world.

During my studies and internships I developed a deep interest in American

art form (and Pop Music), with a par;cular focus on HIP/ Hop and EDM
ar;sts. Having worked under the supervision of Prof Granier at Coventry
University enabled me to get a very beTer understanding of music theory
and popular Music and I see the Masters of popular Music and Musicals
program at Berklee College of Music as a unique opportunity to intensify
my knowledge and con;nue my studies.
Given my educa;on and experience from the Shanghai Conservatory of
Music, I am confident that I am an excellent fit for the Masters of Arts
program at Berklee college off Music. I have researched the program and
determined that the coursework and research profile of the college are a
strong match. I’m par;cularly impressed by the volumes of recognised
Allumni, which prove the importance and industry driven program your
university is involved with.
