Keeping your teeth in place
After you get your braces off, you will most likely have to wear a retainer to make sure your
teeth stay in their new positions long enough for the new bone to harden.
You can take the retainer out when you eat, and to brush and floss.
It is important that you wear your retainer as much as possible and that you take good care of it.
You should brush your retainer whenever you brush your teeth.
Your dentist will decide how long you will need to wear your retainer.
