Itik-Itik

Ballet as widely known to be the technical foundation in many dances have taken inspiration through a
Filipino folk dance “ITIK-ITIK”. It is a dance that mimics a duck’s movements; short and choppy steps. The
collaboration of two different genre is seemingly ironic but the concept evolves in mimicry. Swan Lake is
a famous Ballet repertoire which depicts the story of a princess who turned to a swan after being cursed
by a witch. ITIK or Duck is similar to Swan and such fusion of two dances is a very interesting concept.
Classical Ballet takes on a Filipino folk dance Itik-Itik.

Subli

Subli is a Filipino dance performed during a devotion in honor of the Mahal na Poong Santa Cruz, it is a
large crucifix with the face of the sun at the center. A representation of the said dance is conceptualize in
the form of Classical Ballet. A repertoire based on a Filipino dance with its culture and beliefs, inspired by
the beautiful costumes mainly includes balintawak dress, tapis, panyo, and a buri hat.

Jota Bal

JOTABAL is derived from the words Jota and valse. Jota is a popular dance introduced in the Philippines
by the Spaniards. Valse means waltz, astep or dance in ¾ times. The lively festiva loriginated in
Camohagum, Gumaca, Quezon(formerly Tayabas).

Usahay

originated from Davao and was declared as such by the Supreme Court in a decision last year. ... Singer
Leni Alano, a member of the Bayanihan Dance Troupe, sang the song in the original recording.

Isang Mundo, Isang Awit

Composed by Nonong Pedero in the 1980's and was popularized by Leah Navarro that talk about how
love can make a change in this world, no matter what the consequences are, we will all stick to the idea
that with love, we can unite the world.

Sa Libis ng Nayon

One of many Philippine folk songs that depicts the beauty and tranquility of life in the countryside. It was
written by Santiago S. Suarez and made popular by Filipina singer and "Queen of Kundiman" Sylvia la
Torre.

Ang tangi kong pag-ibig

A song composed by Constancio de Guzman talks about the sad love story of a man and her woman. The
song is sung in Danza style in G minor.
