ABSTRACT

LANDS - East Godavari District - Allotment of Government land to an extent of

300 Sq.yards in Sy.No.118/3 of Morampudi Village of Rajahmundry Rural
Mandal in favour of Smt.P.Jaya Lakshmi and Sri P.Ananta Rao, parents of the
deceased IFS Officer Sri P.Srinivas, who died while trying to nab notorious
smuggler Veerappan, and was awarded “Keerthi Chakra’’ at nominal rate of
Rs.100/- per Sq.yard, in relaxation of G.O.Ms.No.155, G.A. (SC.C) Dept.,
dated:11.04.1997 – Orders - Issued.

ORDER
The District Collector, East Godavari in his letters 1st read above has
stated that parents of Late Sri P.Srinivas, IFS “Keerthi Chakra’’ Awardee has
submitted a representation for allotment of house site and agriculture land and
orders have been issued for grant of agriculture land in Sy.No.284/2
measuring an extent of Ac.2.00 cts. in Thirumalayapalem (V), Gokavaram (M).
He has further stated that the Sub-Collector, Rajahmundry has submitted
proposals for grant of House site patta to an extent of 500 Sq. yards in
Sy.No.118/3 of Morampudi Village of Rajahmundry Rural Mandal to them. The
proposed land is classified as Government Dry and noted as House site. At
present, the land is vacant on ground. The total extent in Sy.No.118/3 is
Ac.9.00 cts., which is surplus land and it was utilized for issue of House sites
to the Land less poor under Indiramma Housing Scheme in Phase-III. The
proposed land measuring an extent of 500 Sq. Yards exists in the southern
side of the approved layout. A-1 notice was published in Morampudi Gram
Panchayat office on 09.03.2015 calling objections, but no objections were
received. The basic value of proposed land is @ Rs.2,500/- per Sq.yard.

2. The Collector, East Godavari District has therefore submitted proposal

for allotment of house site measuring an extent of 500 sq.yards in Sy.No.118/3
of Morampudi Village in favour of the parents of the deceased IFS Officer Sri
P.Srinivas, “Keerthi Chakra” Awardee.

3. The Chief Commissioner of Land Administration in his letter 2nd read

above has stated that the above proposal was placed before the APLMA held on
01-05-2015 and the APLMA has recommended the proposal for allotment of
land as per the terms laid down in the G.O.Ms.No.155, G.A. (SC.C) Dept.,
dt:11.04.1997.

4. Government after careful examination of the proposal hereby order to

allot the Government land to an extent of 300 Sq.yards in Sy.No.118/3 of
Morampudi Village of Rajahmundry Rural Mandal in favour of Smt. P. Jaya
Lakshmi and Sri P.Ananta Rao, parents of the deceased IFS officer Sri P.
Srinivas, “Keerthi Chakra” Awardee at nominal rate of Rs.100/- per Sq.yard, in
relaxation of G.O.Ms.No.155, G.A. (SC.C) Dept., dt:11.04.1997.

5. The Chief Commissioner of Land Administration, A.P., and the District

Collector, East Godavari shall take further necessary action accordingly in the
matter.
