HISTORY OF THE FOLK DANCE:


A Filipino folk dance originated in the Visayas. Different versions of the dance exist such as the one from Ilo-ilo and the other from Negros Occidental. There’s no exact date when did Areuana started.
Areuana is dance wherein there are two couple who are not in good terms at first but lived happily ever after in the end.
