2. Did it change you and or your life?
3. What are you and who are you without ALS?
4. Are you proud that you are ALS learner? Why or why not?

 Mr. Ramel Picardo
 Kabacsanan, Iligan City
 38 year old / married
Answers:
1. Skills related / livelihood
2. It did.
3. I’m a high school dropout and not being able have a diploma.
4. Yes, I’m proud because I graduated and had a diploma and now I’m currently employed
in a plant and enjoying my job.

Learner #2.
 Ms. Kresha May Arguilles
 Sta. Elena, Iligan City
 19 years old / single
Answers:
1. Communication skills
2. Yes it does change me and my life. ALS is a hope for a teenager like me. It’s way of
developing my knowledge and skills is very student centred program. ALS enhances my
abilities and skills and make my life better than before.
3. I am just a simple teenager that was not being given the opportunity of a formal
education, without ALS I will not be able to communicate well with the other and my
listening, reading, speaking and writing skills will never be develop.
4. Yes, I am grateful that I am ALS learner. I am proud now than before. I have more
confidence and knowledge. I also develop my critical thinking skills.

2. Yes, because natuto akong magsulat, magbasa, mag solve at gumraduate.
3. Nasa bahay lang at nag aalaga ng anak.

2. Yes, it change a lot dahil sa programang ito mas nabuksan pa ang isip ko na mangarap, at
dahil din dito mas nagpursige pa ako sa buhay.
3. I think kung wala ang ALS program tambay parin ako ngayon at hindi ako makakahanap
ng magandang trabaho para sa pamilya ko.
4. Proud ako dahil maipagmamalaki ko na ang sarili ko na kahit di ako nakapagtapos ng
degree at least nakapagtapos ako kahit ganitong kurso lang.

 Upper Tominobo, Iligan City
 40 years old / married
Answers:
1. I’m taking up livelihood in ALS
2. Yes, it changed my life because I learned a lot and it helps me improve my skills. It gives
me more confidence because even I’m only an ALS learner I have a chance to go to
college in my age.
3. I am just an ordinary person working in a store with a low wage. Without ALS maybe
I’m still the same person working in that store.
4. Yes, I’m proud to be an ALS learner because I have the chance to pursue my dreams.
