People are becoming indulgent in the use of social media nowadays for recreation and for
communication. Will you agree that social media is important in our lives? Why or why not?

We cannot deny the fact that we rely mostly in social media right now for communicating, socializing
and getting useful information. Yes social media is important in our lives. We can connect to our friends
and family through facebook, messenger even how far they can be. We can befriend someone using
social media. We can get information through it also. But remeber, we can use social media but in good
intention and moderation and I thank you.

2. Some people work day and night because they are so focused in achieving a luxurious life. For you,
what is the true hallmark of success?

Success doesn't really means having luxurious life and fame. The fact is these thing just dont really
matter at the end. For me success is what I contributed to the society and community and to balance my
self. You still need to get something to live but the piont is, you should give more than what you get. You
must also balance your life. True success comes from contributing to a cause that matters to you in a
balanced way

3. The four pillars of St. Dominic are as follows; the love of study, community, prayer and preaching.
Which of the four do you consider as the most important?

All of the pillars were important but for me, the most important is the love of prayer. As a catholic
school, we pray everyday like rosary, angelus, 3'oclock prayer and the like. Through praying, we will be
draw closer to God. Through prayer, we can communicate to God. Through prayer we can ask God for
studies, for our community, for forgivness and for preaching. Because prayer is the most powerful
weapon that we can bring everyday.

4. The TRAIN law removed the taxes of the small earning employees and increased the taxes on sugary
drinks, cigarettes and alcoholic drinks but due to this law, the inflation rate of the country continues to
rise. Do you think the TRAIN Law is what the country really needs right now?

Train law or the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion act is an act to increase the taxes of
cigarettes, alcoholic drinks and the like. I believe that it is not what the country really needs. The
government must first solve the problem of poverty, corruption, social injustices, and human rights
violation. The governemnt must solve this problem before intervening the taxes of our daily
commodities such us oil. That's all and thank you
5. Maryknoll School of Lupon, Inc. is celebrating its 59th year anniversary of giving quality education to
the people of Lupon and its neighboring municipalities. As a student of this institution, what do you
think is the best quality that each Maryknollian has?

As a catholic school, the best quality that each maryknoller has is being prayerful.

Maryknoll school of lupon prays daily the rosary, the angelus, the three o'clock prayer and many more. I
think, being prayerful is developed by every student because everyday, we have christian living class
that teaches the students about God and about how to pray like following the ACTS rule or the
Adoration, Contrition, Thanksgiving, and Supplication.

6. The Philippines is currently facing a lot of serious issues today and one of the most debated is the
lowering of criminal liability to nine years old. As a student and as a teenager, do you think this will
produce a positive impact in the society?

As what we can see today in our society, many children and teenagers are involved in criminal offenses
such us using illegal drugs, stealing, murdering and many more. It is a sad reality but it is happening. I
think lowering of criminal liability to 9 years old produce a positive impact to our society. It will lessen
the criminality rate of our children and teenager that was believed by our National hero that the youth
is the savior of out country. At that age, they already know what is right and wrong.

7. Mental health issues are becoming rampant in our community these past years. What do you think is
the reason of the increasing count of people suffering from this crisis?

Lack of attention to the family and friends. I think these are the main reason why Mental health issues
become rampant to our community. Lack of anttention can lead to depression, anxiety and other mental
health issues. If people suffer from these mental health issues, we must take care of them, we must take
their attention immedietly. If not, it could cause suicide. Taking care of one who need can lrssen the
crisis of mental health issues.

8. What do you think is the greatest mistake that the youth of this generation has made?

The biggest mistake that the youth of this generation has made is being ignorant and curious about
anything. Just like what Pandora did to the box. Due to curiosity, she opened the box and unleashed
destruction to our world. Just like the youth in this generation. Because of curiosity and ignorance, many
youth were becoming involved in using illegal drugs, acting obscenely and many immoral acts.

9. If given the chance to take home the crown tonight, what will be the primary issue you will address
that concerns the school, the youth, and the community?

If God's will to take home the crown, the primary issue that I will address is about the manners and
morality of the students and the youth. I believe that many of the youth shows disrespect and
immorality. If that so, they must be guided. We must establish and teach them good manners and right
conduct because manners maketh man.

10. Many children are involved in various criminal offenses and infarction of the law. Do you believe that
the way the parents raised their children is a big contributing factor to this dilemma? Why or why not?

I believe to the saying that "discipline starts at home". I believe ladies and gentlemen that the way the
parents raised their children contributed mostly the factor of this enigma. It is the parents responsibility
to teach their children what is right and what is wrong. The parents is their first teacher before coming
to school. It is the parents responsibility to discipline their children. According to Proverbs 22:6 that
teach the children how they should live and they remember it all of their lives.

11. As a school ambassador/ambassadress, do you believe that high grades should be a pre-requisite to
being Mr. / Ms. Maryknoll? Why or why not?

Having high grades is not a pre-requisite to be a Mr./Ms. Maryknoll.You can become a Mr. /Ms.
Maryknoll if you have a strong determination and will to do the things that must be done. It must have
the quality of having a good heart and intentions for the good of the school. It must be also responsible
enough to handle his or her problems. Being responsible is a pre-requisite of beeing the next Mr. /Ms.
Maryknoll because power comes from great responsibility.
