The revenue from domestic tourism is likely to grow by 8.2 per cent in
2014 as compared to 5.1 per cent a year ago, according to the World Travel
and Tourism Council (WTTC). The Indian hospitality sector has been
growing at a cumulative annual growth rate of 14 per cent every year adding
significant amount of foreign exchange to the economy.
As per the Planning Commission, the sector creates more jobs per
million rupees of investment than any other sector of the economy. It is
capable of providing employment to a wide spectrum of job seekers, from
the unskilled to the specialized, even in the remote parts of the country. The
sector’s employment-generation potential has also been highlighted by the
World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC), which says India’s travel and
tourism sector is expected to be the second-largest employer in the world,
employing approximately 50 lac people, directly or indirectly by 2019.

CONCLUSION:
It has been a matter of immense pleasure, honour and challenge to have thisopportunity to take up this
project and complete it successfully. While developing this project I have learnt a lot about hotel management,
Ihave also learnt how to make it user friendly (easy to use and handle) byhiding the complicated parts of it from
the users.During the development process I studied carefully and understood thecriteria for making a software
more demanding, I also realised theimportance of maintaining a minimal margin for error.
