Inquiry Learning Inquiry learning is a form of
active learning that starts by
posing questions, problems or
scenarios to students. students
will identify and research issues
and questions to develop their
knowledge and concepts.
Problem Based Learning of students with the
Learning help of realistic problems that do
not necessarily have right answer
but student are encouraged to
use high level thinking skills and
may draw the solution by their
own.
Instructional Learning of students from
Learning teachers in mutual interactions,
dialogues or conversations and
exchange of ideas beyond formal
education is called Instructional
Learning.
Cognitive A form of learning in which a
Apprenticeship less experienced learner gains
knowledge and skills from a
more experienced person by
imitating his words and actions.
Example
A teacher shows a not growing
plant to his students and asks
them to find the elements that
are reason for the problem.
They will collect data and with
the help of this data they would
be able to solve the problem.
The teacher may present the
problem of terrorism in Pakistan
and ask for solutions. The
student are encouraged to study
problem and suggest diffirent
solution to solve problem.
Students have been often seen
in cofee shops with their
teachers discussing topics
related to their study or
educational life. It helps them
to increse their knowledge.
At motor cycle mechanic shop,
we often see young boys
learning how to tight nut bolts,
maintain chain covers, setting
lights, tunning, changing mobil
oil, opening and repairing
engines under the supervision
and guidance of an expert.
