PERSONAL LEARNING:
Alternatives to employment is a useful topic in the first place. We all know that not
everyone will have a chance to be employed and also employment would make us
money but it’s not enough for us to meet the financial freedom. Alternatives to
learning such as business or entrepreneurship give us an opportunity to be able to
free ourselves in this rat race everyone is unaware of. This topic inspired me to seek
that financial freedom that I want, upon hearing the stories about the tycoon here in
the Philippines like Henry SY, Gokongwei, Jack Ma and Lucio Tan I was inspired by
their story these tycoon were not a college graduate but they are one of the riches here
in the phillipines. This clearly imply that employment is not the only way to successful
life.

Engr. Esmenos was a good speaker during the seminar. He has outlined his
speech in a way that you really would be interested in listening. Engr. Esmenos have
always been a good speaker and/or teacher.

The topic discussed were very helpful not only for us as a graduating student
but it could also be an eye opener or serves as an inspiration for anyone who wants to
meet ther freedom in financial goes as this topic discussed the alternatives to
employment that could lead to end of rat race.
COMMENTS FOR OVER ALL PREPERATION:
The preparation was nice. The room was cleaned and there were some design.
The speaker was good and the sertup of the projector was clearly ccisible. Overall it
was a nice preparation.

Personal learnings

I learned about this seminars are the importance of grounding and some
technical words and some calculations. Grounding and earthing which lead to the
introuductioo of the term mnomer which means wrong term. Engr, pablito bantolo
dicussed some basic ways in grondig how we can perform grounding what arew the
ways to decrtesae the resisytance and also the ways to measure the resistance of the
goiurnf leading tinto the introduction of the word soild resistance. Which could be
measured by a device called earointg. Grounding is importance beacaus it actrs as
surge lighning and safety. Mehtonds of grounding.
COMMENTS ABOUT THE SPREAKER;

Engr pablito bantolo is an interesting speaker. With his unorthodox style of

speaking which usually has a high volume of sound will get your attention to what he
is sayng. I believed that he is also knowledgeable in what ewver part you ask him
considering he is also an law graduate increaser my respect into him.
COMMENBNST ABOUT THE TOPICS DISCUSSED:
GROUNDING is a basic operation but is a very important one. Learning this in
seminar could save us a bunch of problems latrer due to improper grounding. That is
why this topic is also usefull for us especially we are foucused in electricity as anature
of our work.

For the overall performancre of the group I could say that they also have
preparted this seminar nicely and it was a successful one. The rtoom was cleaned and
the lighting was good the sound is clear thoug sue tyo low voltage sometimes the
speaker is a bit choppy. The peorjector was also gcel. Oberall it was a nice seminar.

Engr. Samillano is a good speaker. This topic is abit complex and would req the
speaker to simplify it to make his audience understand what this is abopout, Engr,
samillano was able to explain this topiv that his student were able to grasp. This
shoew a remarkable way of speakibng.

The toics discussed was good. Especially for us in the field of electrical enghinering it
gives us a vast of knowledge aabout the bus bar sytem and substation layout. I know
that some of us would someday be able to be employes 9in distribution sector and this
tiopic is very helpuful for them. Fore me I was planning to be on the transmission side
and this is also good.

Thew obeverall persoforamance of preparation is nice.

Engr Gadayan focused on teaching us about branch circuit loading. Branch circuit is
basically a part in the circuit ehre it feeds yte line into the outlet. Various calculations
are made to be followed when designing or implementing a branch circuit.

ENGR GADAYAN IS A GOOD SPEAKER WITH A SENSE OF HUMOR.. HE STARTEDS

HIS SEMINAR BY TELLING US ABOUT THE STORY OF A WOMAN THAT IS BEING
ABUSED BY HER MOTHER IN LAW. THE STORY WAS GREAT IT WAS ABLE TO
MAKE US FOCUSED ON WHAT HE IS SAYING AND THAT MADE US INTERESTED
AND AWWAKE DURING THE SEMINAR.

THE TOPIC ITSELF IS VERY INFORMATIVE SPECIALLY FOR US IN THE FIELD
OF ELECTRICASL ENGINEERING BRANCH CIRCUIT IS ACTUALLY COULD BE
INCLUDED IN DESIGN AND HAVING A KNOWLEDGE ABPUT THIS IS AN
ADVANTAGE FOR US, THIS TOPIC WOULD ALSO BE BENIFICIAL TO ANY OF THOSE
WHO LISTEN AS THIS GIVE THEM BASIC IDEA ABOUT THE PROTECTIONS AND
INFORMATION ABPUT THE BRANCH CIRCUIT.
OVERALL PERFORMANCE
I CANSAY THAT THE OVER ALL PERFORMANCE OF THE GROUP WAS GOOD. THEY
WREE ABLE TO PREPARE THE VENUE NEATLY . CLEANED THE RTOOM WITH A
PROPER SOUND AND A NICE SETUP OF PROJECTOR AND SOME BACKDROP. THE
OVERALL PERFORMANCE IS GOOD.
