 Do you have the following skill sets?

1 INSTRUMENT: Your flute is in great condition

and you know how to take care of it carefully.

2 FINGERINGS: You know your basic fingerings.

(up to 3rd octave G)

3 BREATH CONTROL: You can hold a long tone

for at least 10+ seconds.

4 EXCITED FOR SPEED: You do okay with a bit

of speed and are ready to learn how to take it
up a notch (or ten notches).

5 CRAVE: You long to be able to play music that

has more emotion and feeling. New Genres with
more flare.
 How Are Your Music Reading Skills?

1 THE BASIC RHYTHMS: Quarter, Half, Whole,

Eighth, Sixteenth notes, and combinations of
these notes are all basic and normal for you.

2 TREBLE CLEF: You can read all of the notes

on the treble clef including ledger lines up to
third octave G.

3 SCALES: You have studied and learned

some of the basic major scales, one octave at
least.

4 POLISHED: You have studied, practiced

consistently, and even memorized sheet music
to the polished stage before.

5 YOU'RE PATIENT AND READY: Step-by-step

lessons at a much faster pace are appealing.
