 1 Upgrade to

Ready to upgrade file

1. Prepare a microSD card。
2. Log in Huawei terminal’s official website:
consumer.huawei.com/cn，search“Y541-U02”，then
download software updates。
3. Create a【dload】folder in the root directory of your microSD
card。
4. The "update.zip" in the software upgrade package copy to the
microSD card 【dload】 folder。
5. Insert the microSD into the mobile phone。

 2 Software upgrade

Instruction
 Before upgrading software， please check the battery
power，make sure the battery power is more than twenty
percent。
 Pictures are only for reference,because the difference of
product or version,the interface may be slightly different。
 Warm prompt: in order to avoid data loss，suggestion that
backup data to microSD card before upgrading。

By setting the menu to upgrade

1. Mobile phone slide to the third screen，click【Application】 >
【System updates】。

6. Click【menu】 > 【Local update】

7. Click【backup data】，backup data to microSD card。If you
don't need to backup data，then Ignore this step，Just click
【confirm】。
Mobile phone will restart，then enter the upgrade
interface，and start to upgrade software。The whole upgrade
process takes about three minutes。
In the process of the upgrade，please don’t take out the
battery，also do not remove the microSD card。It is
recommended that you don't do anything，just wait for。

Recovery upgrade
1. Confirm the upgrade package dload folder on the MicroSD
kagan directory，as shown in the figure below。

2. Disconnect the phone with a computer or other equipment,

such as the charger connection, turn it off。
3. Long press the power button + The volume key on
the，Release the power button after light screen mobile
phone，enter Recovery interface as shown in the figure
below。

4. Press the volume side key choose “apply update from external
storage”，then highlight “apply update from external
storage”。

5. Short press the power button，Mobile phone upgrade at this
time，users need not operate Mobile phone，To upgrade
itself，It is said that mobile phone upgrade success when the
screen display” Install from sdcard complete”， After the
success of the upgrade, the default highlight on the "reboot
system now"，as shown in the figure below，Short press the
power button phone automatically boot,Upgrade to
complete。
