CHAPTER III

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

This chapter focuses on the research design and techniques used. It discusses on

how the data and information was gathered.

3.1 Research Design

The researchers used to understand data on this study is a qualitative research. It is

a purposive process of analyzing and understanding of all gathered information and

data regarding the study. It also details the natural problems that they are experiencing

and the facts relative to the gathered information.

3.1.1 Library Research

To accumulate data and knowledge about the Advantages and Disadvanatages of

the implementation of K to 12 Curriculum, We researchers conduct a research in AMA

Computer College Library located at the main building at AMA Computer College,

Bolbok, Batangas City.


3.1.2 Online Researching

The researchers gathered more needed information throughout the internet

especially about the Advantages and Disadvantages of the implementation of K to 12

Curriculum

3.2 Data Gathering Instrument

In gathering the data to be collected for the study, the instruments used by the

researchers are the online references to search for some background and topic related

to the study. The researchers also used books and unpublished these to be patterns to

have a better format for the research paper.

3.3 Data Gathering Technique

Working on the study, the researchers made use of significant facts that are related

to the study such as related literature , compilation of related topics and unpublished

research paper. The researchers accomplished gathering data about the subjects of the

study prior to the data gathering was performed to determine the Advantages and

disadvantages of the implementation of K to 12 Curriculum.


The researchers collected data which are suited and related to the problems of the

study. All collected data were analyzed to have more useful facts and information to the

success of the research study.

3.4 Data Gathering Procedure

This study started in researching from books and internet regarding about the

advantages and disadvantages of implementation of K to 12 Curriculum. The

researchers look for possible advantages and Disadvantages about the implementation

of K to 12 Curriculum. After having some ideas about The Advantages and

Disadvantages of the implementation of K to 12 Curriculum.

3.5 Data Presentation

After all gathered information and data were evaluated and interpreted, the

proposed solution to the problems was provided. Proposed activity and seminars were

presented for the further understanding of the study.
