students of Golden Heritage Polytechnic College to observe classes on July 25, 2019 from 07:00 AM through
07:00 PM in any grade level and subject where the apprentices could focus on and witness the application of
educational concepts and theories in the actual setting. This is to ensure that they obtain proper guidance in
learning the different principles, theories, laws, and philosophies of teaching and gain authentic and meaningful
experiences and lessons while training for the teaching profession.

provide students with practical learning experiences where they can observe, verify, reflect on, and actually
participate in the dynamics of teaching-learning process in the school setting.

Hence, this Field Study 06, “Towards Becoming A Teacher” and actual classroom immersion of
prospective teachers is hoped to help the students to assume and deliver active roles in planning, designing,
implementing, evaluating, managing the school curriculum change vis-à-vis various context of teaching-learning
and curricular reforms.
