Life at Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari

Inspired by the ideals of Swami Vivekananda joined Vivekananda Kendra, (Spiritually Oriented
Service organisation) in 1979 as a Jeevana Vrati (Life Worker scheme). During the Training under the
guidance Man. Eknathji Ranade, and Dr. H.R. Nagendra, at Kanyakumari and was posted in Delhi.
Worked for three years in Delhi looking after the Kendra’s multifaceted activities.

From 1982 – 87 was the Office Secretary of Vivekananda Kendra Rural Development programme.

1987 - 1988 posted at Vivekananda Kendra, Guwahati

1988 - Diploma in Yoga Therapy from SVYASA

1991 – 1993 was in charge of Vivekananda Bharata Parikrama in the Rajasthan

1994 – 1996 was posted in Gwalior to look after the activities Kendra

1996 to till date is the Secretary of Vivekananda Kendra Vedic Vision Foundation, Kodungallur

Achievements: Introduced number of people into the field of yoga. Conducted number of courses
all over the country training yoga teachers. Presently conducting the teacher training course in
Malayalam language.
