2 Resources

3.2.1 Hardware Components

 CPU
 Random Access Memory (RAMP at least 512 MB
 Hard Disk: at least 1 GB HD space

 Monitor
 A monitor or a display is an electronic visual display for
computers. The monitor comprises the display device.
Circuitry and an enclosure. The display device in modern
monitors is typically a thin film transistor liquid crystal
display (TFT-LCD) thin panel, while older monitor use a
cathode ray tube (CRT) about as deep as the screen size.

 Keyboard
 A keyboard is a set of typewriter like keys that enables you
to enter data into a computer. Computer keyboards are
similar to electric-typewriter keyboards but contain
additional keys.

 Mouse
 A device that controls the movement of the cursor or
pointer on a display screen. A mouse is a small object you
can roll along a hard, flat surface. Its name is derived from
its shape, which looks a bit like mouse, its connecting the
wire that one imagine to be the mouse’s tail, and the fact
that one must make it security along a surface.
 Laptop
 Portable and compact personal computer with the same
capabilities as a desktop computer. Laptop computers have

to allow for easy transportation of the machine. The
primary feature that attracts users to laptop over desktops is
their portability. Laptop computers provide users the ability

has no moving parts.

 SQL (Structured Query Language)


o Is a special-purpose programming language designed for
managing data held in a relational database management
system (RDBMS).

3.3 Summary

This chapter contains the Data Flow Diagram (DFD), the Entity
Relationship Diagram (ERD) of the proposed system for Padrinao’s
Catering Services. it also discuss the different hardware and software that
will used to the proposed system.
