• Take contact with the Yoga for the first time by 1970, through consultation

some publications on the subject

• Between 1971 and 1973 begins, in a self-taught, the practice of Yoga, accompanying it with
several readings over a sequence of positions used by Yogis

• In 1982 attends the classes of Professor Rogério Martins, connected to Jorge Stobbaerts
Institute (Lisbon)

• Since this date has consistently maintained the practice and study of Yoga, having
participated in various stages under the direction of Master Stobbaerts Jorge in Lisbon,
Cascais, Sintra Lowland, Porto and Coimbra

• Travelling to various countries, some regularly, which deepens the study and practice:
Germany, Argentina, Brazil, Spain, India, England, Italy, Japan, Switzerland, United States of
America (USA)

• Participated in stages driven by Sri Sri Sri Swami Satchiananda Yogi (Madras, India), in Ten-
Chi (Lowland Sintra)

• Study Za-zen under the guidance of Master Jorge Stobbaerts

• Start teaching Yoga classes, replacing his teacher in 1985 in the Youth Christian Association
(YMCA) in Coimbra

• Since January 1996 he is Professor of Yoga and other movement arts in Coimbra and
Santarém

• Founding member of the Association of Yoga Coimbra (AYCO) and Santarém (ARYOGA)

• Is Dean of Portuguese Yoga Federation, since its founding in May 2000

• Under his guidance, the Portuguese Yoga Federation obtains the status of Public Utility
Authority with the State-recognized Portuguese

• He is director of the Training Course for Teachers of Yoga Portuguese Yoga Federation in
Protocol with the School of Human Kinetics.

• In 2003 noted the Course of Ayurveda with Dr. José Ruguê who takes over 4 years

• Since 2007, he is Professor of Trainer Courses Technical Ayurveda and Ayurvedic Therapist
Portuguese Association of Ayurveda

• Member of the Directorate of the Portuguese Federation of Professional Phytotherapy

(FPFP)
• Consultant for Ayurveda in preparing the Regulatory Law of Non-Conventional Medicines in
the Assembly of the Portuguese Republic

• Makes appointments and treatments of Ayurveda in various clinics and other locations in
Lisbon

• Participates in various Congresses of Ayurveda / Yoga in India and Europe since 2003

• Participated in several meetings of Yoga in Zinal, Switzerland, since 2008, has been speaker
in Yoga and Ayurveda in Zinal 2012
