Different between Al-Amar Restaurant and Four Seasons Restaurant in Brief:

Chain of Restaurants:

The first different we see first is that Al-Amar is an individual restaurant Without Chain with any group
of hotels but on the other hand Four Seasons is a X-group Chain Restaurant who have nine (09)
branches in different prime locations of Dhaka city.

Menu:

Both Restaurant follow A la carte menu with some set course but the main different in this two
restaurant is Al-Amar follow single Lebanese Cuisine menu Where Four seasons has different cuisine
menus like Thai Cuisine, Chinese Cuisine, Indian Cuisine and Cultural foods.

Style of Service, Sitting Arrangement, Decoration:

The Style of service they both provide is look like French service style food have been partially prepared
already, it took 25-30 mins in Four Seasons & 30-35 mins in Al-Amar. Al-Amar is a single floor restaurant
& there total capacity of guest is 80 person at a time. But Four seasons is a multi-floor restaurant & total
capacity of guest is 180 person at a time.

The decoration of Al-Amar Restaurant, decorate their interior with Lebanese hospitality & culture and
sharing it is one of the great joys of community and family life.

The Four seasons Restaurant has been designed and supervised by some of the top Architects and
Engineers who has given more priority on local tradition and heritage while designing. Contemporary
decor, large car parking, concealed lighting, air conditioning and comfortable seating was the prime
focus of designing this Restaurant.
Staff & Management:

Being a single entity Al- Amar restaurant follow traditional management owner than the manager and
other team member in different sectors. The manager is the key person he supervise all the functions of
the restaurant. They have total 14 Staff & Team Member. In the other hand, Four Seasons is a chain
restaurant of X group so they have Managing Director, Management team; HR Team, Accounts team &
marketing team every team do follow different rules & responsibility. Restaurant is not the key person
of the management.

Suppliers Storage:

Al-Amar, To maintain the Lebanese style cuisine most the meat & key ingredients are being import from
Middle East countries they also have some local suppliers who supply rice & other local ingredients.
They have a modern storage house with well maintain so that they can serve fresh healthy food.

Four Seasons also have suppliers in home & abroad they import those ingredients, which is not available
in the country. Four Seasons has one small storage house other Four Seasons Restaurant & they have a
big Modern Storage under the X group.

Restaurant Automation System:

Al-Amar use partial automation system POS for billing & orders. Four Seasons Use full automation
system for billings, booking, purchase & sales.

Recruitment & Training:

Al-Amar generally recruit experience & train Chef & staff. In case of inexperience recruitment, they have
in house Training system. Four Seasons have Different Human resources Management Team under X
group who recruit, provide training & motivations.

Marketing of Restaurant:

Al-Amar only do digital Marketing they do only face book marketing & marketing through their own
website. They do have any other marketing strategies & promotional activities.

Four seasons have a marketing team who follow total marketing strategies they do marketing campaign,
print media promotion, billboard & digital marketing.

Other Special Facilities:

Al- Amar has no special facilities without food service. They do not do outside catering, Buffet program
or any recognize service.

Four seasons has many special facilities like:

 Self & largest car parking

Opening Time:

Al-Amar generally open seven days from 10 am – 11 pm.

Four seasons openings hours are like:

Friday – Thursday round the week.

October-February: 12:00-3:00 pm for lunch & 6:00-10:30 pm for dinner.

March-September: 12:00-3:30 pm for lunch & 6:30-10:30 pm for dinner.

Outside catering and corporate services are also available
