INTRODUCTION
 Tata Motors Limited is India’s largest automobile company. It is the leader in
commercial vehicles in each segment, and among the top three in passenger
vehicles in India with products in the compact, midsize car and utility vehicle
segments.
 Tata Motors has car producing and assembly plants in Jamshedpur, Pantnagar,
Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Dharwad and Pune in India, similarly as in Argentina, African
nation and Kingdom of Thailand.
 Tata Motors Lucknow is one among the youngest production facilities among all the
Tata Motors locations and was established in 1992 to satisfy the demand
for industrial Vehicles within the Indian market.

 Worked for Supplier Quality Department.
 Supplier Quality divided in two part :
 Advance Quality
 Current Quality
 Supplier quality maintain the quality of product of Supplier.
 Maintaining Store of Supplier by Appling FIFO.
 Waste elimination from TATA Motors Assembly Line.
OBJECTIVE
 To maintain the quality of compound by visiting to supplier of TATA motors.
 To maintaining production process of supplier to know whether work
instruction sheet follows or not.
 Elimination all the expired compound to maintain the quality of engine
mount.
LITERATURE REVIEW
 Stump and Heide( 1990) Studied that the validity of our measures was assessed
by at the start examining item-to-total correlations for the set of things equivalent
to every theoretic construct and conducting explorative issue analyses. Once this
first analysis, the complete set of things was subjected to confirmative correlational
analysis victimisation EQS to verify unidimensionality.
 Goetsch and Davis (2010) in this Study of the standard applies to product,
services, people, processes, and one environments. Quality is associate
degree ever dynamical state. Quality should provide superior worth to
the client (superior worth has three elements: superior Quality, superior value,
superior service)

 Waldman(1994)Analyze that article makes an attempt to include TQM ideas and
proposals into a system-focused approach toward modeling work performance.
Propositions are place forth that will facilitate to more the understanding of
processes resulting in the
maximization labour performance. numerous literatures, together with writings in
TQM, are integrated in an effort to point out the need and implications
of managing system phenomena. In sum, the system has been viewed here
as moving performance by indirectly enhancing aspects of the person, interacting
with the person in terms of person/system work, and constrictive performance at
lower stratified levels and in jobs lacking autonomy.
FINDINGS
 In 24 Hours Requirement of compound is 900 KG.
 In 1 week Requirement is 6300 KG & There are 10 Storage Racks.
 Racks are divided as per the day, so from 1st to 7th Racks are for 1 to 7
days, 8th Rack for Extra Items and 9th to 10th for Scraps.
 All the stock of compound is divided as per the need of every day
production and they are as per day.
 Average Weight of 1 compound batch is 75 kg and 1 day requirement is
900 kg, so there are 12 Packets of batches are kept in 1 storage Racks.
By this pattern all the batch kept day wise in 1st to 7th Storage Rack.
 Generally 3 day taken to supply of Compound in Bony Polymer Pvt. Ltd.
After order, 4th Day is Re-Order Level.
 Labeling on all the Store Rack should be happened as per day wise.
 Compound should be labeled and they should be laminated by which
identity of compound is safe.

CONCLUSION
• In this Research there is study of Supplier of TATA Motors Ltd. and supplier is
Bony Polymer Pvt. Ltd. Bony Polymer supply Engine Mount to TATA Motors.
Problem is they using expire Compound for Production of Engine Mount due to
which TATA Truck and Bus Quality get affected. Compound Life is of 7 days so
due to lack of management in compound store compound get expired. There is
need for proper system for management of compound store and FIFO is best
way to do proper management of compound store. By applying FIFO
compounds are not get expired.
• Waste Elimination is another project in which waste material removed from the
Assembly Line. For better result there is need to maintain the quality of product,
which is possible by eliminating waste from assembly line. There is hazardous
chemical on line, labors eating food in line during break, various packed items
are used in trucks and bus so there cardboards and polybags are kept on line, so
there is need to remove it. By keeping Bins at line waste elimination possible,
various colors of bins are kept on assembly line every color code have meanings,
and they are kept for specific waste material.
LEARNING

 Implement of FIFO system in Store.

 Understanding the working mechanism of Assembly line.
 Understanding the Waste Elimination at Layout.
 Understanding the Corporate Environment.
 Understanding the way of Labeling store.
