2) Course name : Expository Writing

3) Course description : The course is designed to develop basic library skill and writing
ability in students. The subject affords the experience of gathering,
interpreting and documenting information, developing and
organizing ideas and conclusions, and communicating these clearly.
It also aims to guide the students in the basic tools of research,
namely the library and its resources, the computer and its software,
and the facility of expression.

15) Policies and guidelines


a. Attendance is counted from the first regular class meeting.
b. A validated student identification card must always be worn by all students while attending
classes.
c. Cheating is strictly prohibited. Any form of dishonesty shall be dealt with accordingly.

d. Valid examination permits are necessary in taking the examinations as scheduled. The use
