Fight! Fight!
Accountancy was the course that I chose

Still wondering and still confused why did I take this path

Although I ain’t good with simple equations in math

I don't have a choice but to continue the path of my course .

Accounting is the” Language of Business”

Classifying the transactions of the assets, liabilities and equities

Analyzing the increase and decrease in the debits and credits

And putting them all in the worksheets

Balance sheets and accounting equations

As well as preparing financial statements and transaction analysis

Are the lessons that I need to study

For me to pass the semester greatly

Accountancy gives me so much headache

But I am willing to learn whatever it takes

I will always take a risk

For my inspiration is God and my families

Determination is the key to success

And also trusting God in the process

I may be small but do not belittle me for I am filled with perseverance

And I know that God is with me with His guidance

If they can do it, the I can also do it

I won’t give up and I will fight for it!

I know that few years from now I will become an accountant

And I should bear it in my mind because that is important!

Ms. Micaela Andrea Torres gave us an individual
activity, we will compose a song or a poem about
our course and we will perform it in the class . I
am not good in singing and in music that is why I
chose to write a poem. I am not also good in writing
a poem but I did my very best to express my
feelings about the course that I took. I based my
poem with my experiences and how I motivate
myself every time I lose hope. The photos below
are my preparations during writing my poem.

I was very nervous and I think my voice was

shaking that moment. Even though I was very shy
of sharing my piece because it is just very simple
unlike the works of my classmates, of course I have
no choice but share it. It took me a lot of courage to
do that because I’m scared that they might criticize
it but like what I said in the poem that if they can
do it then I can also do it too. I finished it until the
end and it makes me feel relieved.
