The agenda was announced at Davos 2019 in

Global Citizen, P4G, The Female Quotient,
Global Citizen Forum and leaders from
government, business and non-profits
who aim to mobilize citizens around
the world for social good.

SAP Next-Gen for partners is a global
next-generation partner network
which includes accelerators,
purpose partners, co-working spaces,
VCs, startups, and academia supporting
SAP customers in the exploring phase of
the SAP Leonardo services life cycle.
The SAP Next-Gen partner network is
manifested in growing a global network of
innovation with purpose hubs linked to
the Startup Guides in cities around the world.
A global agenda for partnerships to achieve
the SDGs was announced at Davos 2019 with
Partnering for Green Growth and the Global Goals 2030
(P4G) and Hasso Plattner Institute (HPI) to share
a global agenda for partnerships to achieve
the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
 Global Gender Agenda
Through its global gender agenda, SAP Next-Gen drives a purpose-driven
innovation and technology community that fosters young female innovators
and encourages young women and girls to pursue STEAM education and gain
skills as next-generation purpose-driven innovators who can accelerate solutions
to the SDGs. The global gender agenda was announced at Davos 2019
and supports the goals of the Global Innovation Coalition for Change to make
innovation and technology work better for women and girls. SAP Next-Gen also
connects universities and its purpose partners to The Female Quotient and
its FQ Lounge: Home of Equality On Campus program, which offers the
next generation of leaders a community in which they can collaborate
and connect, setting a strong foundation for them to thrive in their future
careers and create meaningful change in the workplace.

SAP Next-Gen purpose network for the SDGs
globally engages new audiences for new experiences
and new opportunities drive “innovation with purpose”
with SAP. The program attracts corporate leaders who
are pursuing both profit and a higher social purpose, and
invites them to partner with SAP on purpose driven
innovation. Curated events connect customers to
purpose partners and influencers accelerating solutions
to the SDGs. The purpose network includes royalty,
prime ministers, mayors, philanthropists, CEOs, startups,
celebrity activists, etc. The Three Trillion Reasons to
Spend Better agenda was announced at Davos 2019
to highlight purposeful purchasing and investing
in support of the SDGs.
 SAP Next-Gen for enterprises
SAP Next-Gen for enterprises inspires customers
globally to explore digital innovation with purpose
together with SAP. Through new methodologies
such as science fiction thinking and purpose thinking,
and through services such as innovation tours,
boot camps, future of industry summits and more,
the initiative connects customers with academia,
startups, accelerators, tech community partners,
purpose driven partners and institutions, venture firms,
futurists and SAP experts for inspiration on the intelligent
enterprise and experience management. The aim is to
nspire SAP customers to explore SAP Leonardo
offerings and services as they start their digital
innovation with purpose journey. At Davos 2019,
SAP Next-Gen announced a new initiative aimed at
accelerating the impact of sustainable business practices
in the fashion industry. SAP Next-Gen also announced
at Davos 2019 a call-to-action for sustainable and
healthy food systems for all.
 SAP Next-Gen Chapters
SAP Next-Gen Chapters are lighthouse universities which are multipliers of the University Competence Center (UCC)
and Academic Competence Center (ACC) locations, supporting educational institutions in a country or
region to build up the local SAP Next-Gen innovation with purpose network, and enabling
customers to work with the mindset of young people at universities for disruptive design concepts and
prototype solutions to accelerate becoming best-run, intelligent enterprises and to lead in the experience economy.

The chapters mentor other universities by sharing best practices for educating students with SAP Next-Gen
resources for hands on use of SAP software and curriculum in classrooms in collaboration with a UCC and/or ACC.
And chapters connect industry partners to academic thought leaders and researchers, students, startups,
accelerators, purpose driven partners, venture firms, futurists, and SAP experts to reimagine the future of
industries, seed in disruptive innovation with startups, and build skills for the intelligent enterprise.

A cross topic chapter is a multiplier across a broad range of SAP Next-Gen program offerings
to support a wide range of communities:

 A focus topic chapter is a multiplier in a particular area of expertise. As examples, some SAP Next-Gen focus
topic chapters will specialize on digital core with SAP S/4HANA. Others plan to focus on digital innovation with
analytics, machine learning, or blockchain technology. Some will focus on Experience Management with
Qualtrics. Others will focus on running Code with Purpose by SAP Next-Gen hackathons to foster a global movement
of students developing disruptive solutions to social challenges. And some may focus on educating students on
innovation methodologies including science fiction thinking and purpose thinking; or enabling academia to run
gender equality events to make innovation and technology work better for young women and girls; or enabling
members as SAP Next-Gen Labs including supporting industry partners with SAP Next-Gen services for SAP Leonardo.

Some SAP Next-Gen Chapters may host regional faculty trainings, develop new academic curriculum on SAP
offerings including Qualtrics experience management, or showcase thought leadership on digital business.
Chapters may also share best practices in linking student projects using SAP technologies to “innovation with
purpose,” or foster student social entrepreneurs using SAP technologies. Each chapter can choose to be a cross
topic or focus topic chapter to enable members of the SAP Next-Gen innovation with purpose community to
connect, engage, and be enabled to reimagine the future of industries.
 SAP Next-Gen Labs
SAP Next-Gen Labs at universities foster connections between academic thought leaders, researchers
& students, and the SAP ecosystem including SAP customers, startups and accelerators, tech community
partners, venture firms, purpose driven partners, and digital innovation experts from SAP and its partners,
to drive innovation with purpose, the future of sustainable industries linked to
the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals, and the experience economy.

Universities which open an SAP Next-Gen Lab have opportunities to:

• open new channels to share thought leadership and collaborate with other
thought leaders in academia and industry on the technologies and innovation
methodologies driving the digital transformation of industries
• connect companies recruiting next generation leaders with purpose driven students
and graduates who have digital transformation knowledge and skills
• showcase startups with corporates seeking to seed in disruptive innovation
• conduct SAP Next-Gen projects which may include industry partners
(software access will depend on the use case)
• become preferred venues for SAP Next-Gen events.

summits, meetups, festivals, and salons.

SAP Next-Gen services are focused on the 25 SAP industries and 7 lines-of-business; SAP Leonardo offerings e.g. IoT,
machine learning, blockchain, and analytics; Qualtrics experience management solutions; other exponential
technologies e.g. VR/AR, robotics, drones, and iOS enterprise apps; innovation methodologies e.g. science fiction
thinking, purpose driven thinking, design thinking, and next-gen change management; and special topics including
FQ Lounges: The Home of Equality on campus to advance opportunities for women and girls in STEM education,
entrepreneurship, and innovation, as well as Snap! which educates younger students with coding skills and inspires
them to “Code with Purpose.”

SAP Next-Gen Boot Camps: leverage science fiction thinking, purpose thinking, and design thinking together with
thought leadership from academia and experts from SAP and partners on customer-specific topics to accelerate
innovation with purpose. Boot camps feature SAP Leonardo offerings (e.g. IoT, machine learning, blockchain,
analytics), other exponential technologies (e.g. VR/AR, robotics, drones, and iOS enterprise apps), and
Experience Management with Qualtrics, an SAP company.

SAP Next-Gen Advisors program: connects experts in the SAP ecosystem to next generation social entrepreneurs,
developers, data scientists, makers, and tech founders to foster innovation with purpose linked to the 17 UN Global
Goals while adopting the latest SAP technologies.

SAP Next-Gen Startup Matchmaker program: pairs startups to customers to seed in disruptive, industry specific
innovation for the intelligent enterprise and the experience economy with SAP’s latest technologies.
FQ Lounges: The Home of Equality on Campus: foster young female purpose driven innovators at campuses
worldwide. In a collaboration with The Female Quotient and their FQ Lounge: The Home of Equality at Campus
program, the first FQ Lounge on campus opened in June 2018 at the SAP Next-Gen Lab location at ESIGELEC in
Rouen, France. In August 2018, the second FQ Lounge on campus launched at the University of Cape Town in South
Africa. Many more FQ Lounges: Home of Equality on Campus have opened at SAP Next-Gen Lab locations on
university campuses worldwide, which offer young women a community in which they can collaborate and connect,
setting a strong foundation for them to thrive in their future careers and create meaningful change in the workplace.

Science Fiction to Fact: the SAP Next-Gen science fiction community uses science fiction thinking to boldly envi-
sion the intelligent enterprise and create disruptive innovation for the experience economy. Industry partners can
picture their intelligent enterprise empowered with machine learning, blockchain technology, artificial intelligence,
augmented and virtual reality, robotics, drones, the IoT, cloud technology, and experience management solutions,
enabling a future when the 17 UN Global Goals are realized.

SAP Next-Gen Academic community for SAP Leonardo: fosters connections and the sharing of best practices and
thoughts leadership among faculty and teachers across the global SAP Next-Gen network of educational
institutions who are focused on educating students with insights on SAP Leonardo offerings including machine
learning, blockchain, IoT, analytics, and cloud. Educators can benefit from SAP Leonardo learning content available
in SAP Learning Hub academic edition, Massive Open Online Courses available from openSAP, and selected SAP
free trials/downloads.

SAP Next-Gen Summit on Experience Management: brings together academics, corporations, startups, accelerators,
tech community partners, purpose driven partners, venture firms, futurists, social activists, government leaders, NGOs

economy powered by Qualtrics and SAP.

SAP Next-Gen Innovation with Purpose Week: an annual event for the global SAP Next-Gen purpose driven
innovation community, on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly Week and United Nations Day, and linked to SAP’s
commitment to support and drive innovation aligned with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals defined by the
United Nations to transform the world’s economy, society, and environment.
