At least 45% aggregate marks in the intermediate or equivalent examination are mandatory
for Admission to All Undergraduate programs except Pharm.D/ B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture and
B.Sc Engineering programs and for the FATA students 40% aggregate marks till the
restoration of the political position/Law and order situation in FATA (20-02-2014).
Candidate Have the Education Other Than Intermediate Like A-Level etc Must Obtain
Equivalence Certificate From IBCC.

Admission Procedure Instructions for B.Sc Engineering Program

Try to submit your application along with the required documents as early as possible. Do
not wait for the last date. As soon as the process of selection is completed, the merit list will
be notified showing the percentage admission marks of the applicants admitted in different
disciplines against different categories.
All documents to be attached with the application form (Form-I/Form-II) should be attested
by a Class-I Gazetted Officer of the government or class-A Officer of this university.

General Eligibility Requirements

An applicant for admission to any of the B.Sc Engineering Degree program offered by the
university must fulfill the following requirements.

 He should have obtained at least 60% marks in examination on the basis for which he
seek admission. Marks of Hafiz-e-Quran and entry test where applicable shall be
added only for the determination of the merit.
 He should be a bonafide resident of the area from where he seek admission.
 He should meet standards of physique and eye-sight laid down in the medical
certificate.
 He must have appeared in the entry test for the Session 2016 arranged by the
University of Engineering & Technology Lahore, Pakistan.
Seats for Diploma Holders
For admission against seats reserved for the diploma holders of Diploma of Associate
Engineer, The candidate should passed the Diploma examination from Board of Technical in
relevant technology with minimum 60% marks.
Diploma holders can apply only in there relevant fields details given below.

A candidate having diploma in any other technology shall not be eligible for admission.

Provisions About Admission on the Basis of a B.Sc. Degree

For Admission to the B.Sc. Electrical, Mechanical, Building & Architecture, Civil and
Computer engineering an applicant must have passed the B.Sc. examination with
Mathematics & Physics.
A person possessing a B.Sc degree in not eligible for admission to any Bachelor Engineering
program at college unless he has also passed F.Sc (Pre-Engineering or Pre-Medical) .

Gender
Both male and female candidates are eligible to apply for admission to B.Sc Engineering
Degree program.

Credit for Hafiz e Quran

Twenty marks are added to the academic marks in HSSC or equivalent examination of an
applicant who is Hafiz e Quran. He gets the benefit only if he has:
Filled in necessary column provided in the application form, and
Appeared before the assessment committee appointed by the University to conduct an oral
test and the committee accept his claim of being Hafiz e Quran.

Determination of Merit is Case of Equal Percentage of Admission Marks

If two or more applicants have equal percentage of admission marks ( Up to three places of
decimal), they shall be treated at par the purpose of admission. If there is a tie for last seat
in a particular discipline/category then all candidate who have secured equal percentage of
admission marks up to three decimal shall be admitted

Admission Procedure for undergraduate programs other than B,Sc Engineering

Prospectus contains two application form (which can be used for two
discipline/departments) will be available from following branches of HBL & United bank &
Sub campus of the university by the payment of RS.600/-

Through mail by sending bank draft for Rs.600/- in favor of the Treasure, Bahauddin
Zakariya University, Multan for registered Post delivery and Rs.820/- for delivery by courier
service/OCS where applicable along with a Self-Addressed large size envelope.

The application form can also download from website:

http://www.bzu.edu.pk and shall be submitted to the respective department/
Centre/Institute/Constitute college of the university with a bank draft of Rs.600/- as
application processing fee.

Candidate not holding Pakistani Nationality shall route their application through the higher
Education Commission, Islamabad

Application complete in all respect must reach the Department/Institute/Centre/Constitute
