I. LEARNING OBJECTIVES
At the end of 45-munites discussion, the students should be able to:
a. identify the forms of energy
b. label the forms of energy
c. appreciate the importance of the forms of energy through participating to the discussion.

IV. MATERIALS a. Visual Aids, Charts, Flash Cards, Pictures, Name Tags
V. PROCEDURES a. Elicit
For the student to refresh their minds the teacher ask them some questions about their last topic that they discuss.
b. Engage
To energize the student in the class the teacher prepare a game called pass the marker. The teacher ask his/her students
to form into two group. So before the game started the teacher sites the mechanics of the game. The student have
3-minutes to finish the game. In the end the group one wins.
c. Explore
In the same group the teacher give another activity to his/her for them to explore and to find a hint about their topic for
the day. The teacher paste a picture into the board and let the student find thing that produce heat, light and sound
energy.
d. Explain
After the students finish the game. The teacher ask them if they already had an idea about their topic for the day. Then
the student said "yes" so the teacher begun to introduce the topic to his/her student by asking what is energy.
Furthermore the teacher discuss about forms of energy and energy has eight forms.
e. Elaborate
After the discussion the teacher ask some question to his/her student for to elaborate what they did discuss.
f. Extend
The teacher give another activity to his/her student to measure if they really understand the topic that they discuss before
they proceed to their quiz.
g. Evaluate
To measure the leaning of student the teacher give a quiz to his/her student. She allow the student to label the three
forms of energy represented in this image and it serves as a short quiz.
