COURSE DEFINITION 7. Eraser and sharpener

LOTE-Turkish is an introductory course designed to develop listening, speaking, writing and reading skills while
building a solid background in grammar and vocabulary. Our objective is to get familiar with Turkish sounding and
obtain necessary vocabulary for higher levels. The class will be taught in Turkish and expected to be patient in
order to get used to vocabulary and pronunciation. All students will be expected to attend class regularly,
participate in class assignments, work cooperatively with both the instructor and fellow classmates, and complete
and return all homework. Students will learn about the Turkish culture. They also will have the chance to try
Turkish food.
