Ang kursong ito ay pag-aaral sa iba’t ibang anyo ng panitikan/ literatura ng Pilipinas sa pamamagitan ng pagbasa sa ilang tekstong pampanitikan na hango sa iba’t
ibang rehiyon ng Pilipinas , tatalakayin din ang mahahalagang kaganapan sa iba’t ibang panahon ng kasaysayan ng panitikan sa sambayanang Pilipino.
PROGRAM OUTCOMES:
Articulate the rootedness of education in philosophical, socio-cultural, historical, psychological and political contexts.
Demonstrate mastery of subject matter discipline.
Facilitate learning using a wide range of teaching methodologies and delivery modes appropriate to specific learners and their environments.
Develop innovative curricula, instructional plans, teaching approaches and resources for diverse learners.
Apply skills in the development and utilization of ICT to promote quality, relevant and sustainable educational practices.
Demonstrate a variety of thinking skills in planning, monitoring, assessing and reporting learning processes and outcomes.
Practice professional and ethical teaching standards sensitive to the local, national and global realities.
Pursue life-long learning for personal and professional growth through varied experiential and field-based opportunities.

Matalakay nang masaklaw ang Panitikan ng Pilipinas bago dumating ang mga Kastila hanggang sa kasalukuyan.
Mabigyan ng pagpapahalaga ang mga akdang pampanitikan na naisulat mula sa iba’t ibang rehiyon.
Maibahagi ang kasaysayan ng Pilipinas sa mga susunod pang henerasyon sa pamamagitan ng pagbibigay pansin sa sining at pagbabago ng ating lipunan.

Attendance
1. Students having seven (7) absences without valid reasons will be dropped from the class. Students are required to
present admit to class slip from the Office of Student Affairs and Services after being absent in the previous meeting.
2. Three (3), not necessarily consecutive, tardiness without further notice is equivalent to one (1) absence.
COURSE POLICIES
Incomplete Grade:
1. Students who were not able to take the midterm/final examinations will receive an incomplete grade.
2. Incomplete grade should be complied within one year.
