ASSIGNMENT TASK

Select one of the key themes of the EYFS; either A Unique Child or Enabling Environments
or Positive Relationships. Design an A3 poster using a recognised software package (e.g.
Microsoft Word or Publisher) which demonstrates your understanding of the chosen theme,
the related principle and its implications for practice when working with young children.
Make use of theory to support your ideas and include a reference list on your poster. You
should use graphics and pictures to make your poster visually appealing but please do not
include photographs of children. Please make sure you save and submit your poster in .pdf
format. Check that all of your poster is visible in .pdf format before submission.

GENERAL ASSIGNMENT GUIDANCE
TEAMWORK AND ITS ASSESSMENT Should this assignment require you to work
as part of a team, you will receive an
individual grade based upon your
performance as well as personalised
feedback. The module leader will explain
how your individual grade and feedback will
be determined.
Importance of Word Counts and Assignment word counts and presentation
Presentation Timings timings should always be observed.
Ignoring a word count increases
significantly the risk of your work losing
marks because it lacked structure, flow,
focus and clarity. Timings must be
observed for assessed presentations for
the same reasons.
