y no atañe sólo a California

otro polvillo posa unos rasgos voladores.
*
Voy a dormir,

(which is ridiculous/ in this time, this place,// unseemly, impossible,/even slightly scandalous),/ the reddest
rose unfolds;/ (nobody can stop that, no immanent threat from the air,/ not even the weather,// blighting our

Isis, Iris,

¿me juzgaron--prisionera?

the ecstasy comes through you// but goes on;/ the torch was lit from another before you,/ and another and

We leave the old bronze doors, 1257,/ for another bronze, 1960/ I am thinking of the young athlete//with the

very aspect of the Decathlon/ slays deseperation, as long ago (to-day)/ Helios slays the Python.
