Personal reflections

The virginity of the Blessed Mother Mary is like mirror reflected by the sun light and the could
not be broken, the grace of God is the sunlight and the mirror is the Blessed Mother, When God choose
Mary as Mother of Christ she is young lady a virgin, no relationship in that time, but through the grace of
God and through the power of the Holy Spirit, she bore the baby in her womb in nine months like a
normal pregnant.

Now a days some people not Valued the virginity, when some coupled live months or living
together without the sacrament of marriage they give already their virginity to their partner, and some
our teens now a days so very aggressive in terms of sex. It because also what they saw in the social
media, before in time of our grandparents they gave more value of the virginity because according to
them. If you receive the sacrament of the Matrimony the virginity is the special gift of wife to their
husband. And the challenge to us to remain virgin and follow the God’s will as the Blessed Mother.

Mary the mother of our God has set a high standard for how we, as a people, should live our
daily lives. When Mary gave up her life in order to do God’s will, she sacrificed everything for us. She
was a teen and very when she accepted this fate, and her only question to the angel Gabriel was “How
can this be?” The Virgin Mary took on this great responsibility with such grace and integrity, even at a
young age. She inspires me to better my life and how I live it every day.

Another way Mary inspires me to become a better person is that she accepted God so fully and
without doubt or question of what was going to happen. I want to be able to accept God as whole-
heartedly as she did. She trusted God in every way and always listened to him. She knew how she was
raising Jesus was right with his love and guidance behind her. The Virgin Mary shows us that we must
trust in God and trust that he has a plan for us. We need to be able to listen to God and know that he is
always by our side as Mother Mary knew. We will all become closer to him if we just followed in Mary’s
footsteps.

One way that Mary inspires me to better my life is that she and her example make me want to
help others more often and in bigger ways than I already do. Knowing that she gave up her life to help
Gods cause of saving the world makes it a little easier to get up early and go to a food drive or
Feed My Starving Children. Mary, the mother of our God, thought of all others before she thought of her
life, and her wants and desires. If we can think and act more like Mary, the whole world would be a
better place because we would put the needs of others before our own. Mother Mary should inspire us
to make the world a better place.
What I found is that Mary was dedicated to serving God in the temple, which was common
practice in those days. In Luke 1:36-38, it clearly mentions that she was the handmaiden of God and that
she was a very pious young girl. So the first thing I learned about Mary while doing my Term Paper is

that she was devoted to God Almighty: Her life was simply for the sake of worshipping and serving God.
When I read Luke, I found her extremely pious and concerned about her chastity, such as when she
clearly responded to the angel who brings her glad tidings, “How shall this be, since I have no husband?”
These words of Mary speak volumes of the purity of Mary, and indeed show the atmosphere
and religious traditions she would have been brought up with in Palestine during the first century CE.
She was a young girl conscious of her religious obligations.
Another remarkable thing about Mary was her obedience to the command of Almighty God, and
putting her full trust in Him. Again this can be observed in Luke where she said: “Behold I am the
handmaiden of the Lord, let it be to me according to your word.” I say remarkable, because here is a
young Jewish girl, who was very conscious of her morals and ethical behavior. Plus, she was very lucid
when faced with a divine being—such as an angel—with regards to her moral position. And yet, as soon
as she became fully aware and mindful of the spiritual experience she was having, she put her trust in
Almighty God fully and submitted to His Will. This is one of the first pious incidents that I learned about
the young girl Mary from the New Testament.
The next thing I learned from the New Testament is how Mary became a very young mother.
This is an area of perhaps much debate, with regards to her age; as highlighted earlier, she was around
the age of 12 to 13 when she reached puberty; therefore, it would seem, that she was around 13 or 14
years old when she gave birth to Jesus, in what seems to be very humble and simple circumstances.
Today, the role of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the Catholic Church is just as visible as it was two
thousand years ago. Her life began as a humble one, remaining docile to the voice of the Holy Spirit.
Guided by the Spirit of God, she remained in the background during the life of our Lord, Jesus.
The virgin's name was Mary. [Lk. 1:28, 34] It is she who conceived and beard a Son who was to be
named "Emmanuel" which means "God is with us". [Mt. 1:23]
Guided by the Holy Spirit and anxious to devote herself to the affairs of the Lord [1 Cor. 7:32,
35], in faith and hope against hope, the Virgin Mary gave herself totally to God's will. As the mother of
the Savior, she remained immaculate throughout her life, a virgin before, during and after her
conception. (C.C.C. # 506).

The last reason why Mary is such a great example is that she was so humble about everything
she did and accomplished. She never gloated about who she was or who her son was, and as far as we
know, never tried to show him off, as many parents do. We can all learn from Mary’s humble beginnings
and the attitude that she had because of this. Also, The virgin Mary loved her son, and everyone else
that she was around. Even at the time of Jesus’ suffering, and her suffering, she loved him and stayed
loyal to God. We should learn to take these attributes from Mary and use them in our lives today.

All in all, Mary was and is a wonderful and truly amazing person, whether it’s example to help
others, her passion for god, or her sweet and humble nature. From the time that she accepted her fate
as the mother of Jesus, to the day of his suffering and death, Mary took on a great responsibility and
handled herself amazingly. We all need to look up to Mary and respect her as a role model, a generous
and loving person, and, most importantly, the mother of our God. She was a great woman and truly
deserves the crown of a queen. Like from the song of the As the rain rushes down. As the rain rushes
down, and the earth blossoms forth, and the wind caresses every tree. You can hear the turtle dove
singing all throughout the land of the fair, young Virgin Mary. My heart sings out with praise of my Lord.
My soul rejoices in God my Savior for He has looked upon his servant tenderly, humble as she is. Mary’s
Virginity for my own opinion was the best example on all for the Religious and Clergy, To the Youth, and
to All husbands and wives. And I found that Mary changed my life by praying the Holy Rosary she is the
Virgin loving Mother of mankind. Pray for us to God and ask Him to send his Divine Love to us. Amen.
