Generally, the two training courses on ICT Literacy and Tools aim to:

a) capacitate teachers in their respective specializations with sufficient foundations on ICT integration
and appropriate technological and pedagogical skills for the 21st century classroom.

DAY 1- FOUNDATIONS of ICT Integration in the 21st Century Teaching and Learning
Specifically, the training course aims to:

a) provide educators with the knowledge and understanding of the required policies, standards,
guidelines and required teacher competencies on ICT-pedagogy integration;
b) promote awareness on the nature of 21st century learners and the current trends in teaching; and
c) enhance their competencies to allow them to identify, explore and evaluate online resources for
teaching and learning.

DAY 2- ICT Integration in the DIFFERENT FIELDS of SPECIALIZATION


Specifically, the training course aims to:

a) equip sufficiently the TEI teachers in Bicol Region on the ICT integration towards 21st century
teaching and learning;
b) instill knowledge, practice and skills on the use of effective and appropriate technology tools for varied
specializations, including effective evaluation techniques, problem-based learning pedagogy, desired
values in integrating ICT in teaching and learning, and
c) develop the contextualized syllabi for Technology in Teaching and Learning (TTL) 1 and 2 for
implementation in respective teacher education institution.
