ACI-INT Corrosion Inhibitor Intensifier

Description ACI-INT is a granular material used to enhance the corrosion protection

properties of organic acid corrosion inhibitors permitting extended
protection at high bottom hole temperatures. When acidizing in wells with
elevated temperatures, combination of the corrosion inhibitor with CESI
Chemical line of corrosion inhibitors the ACI-INT will provide a corrosion
inhibition system to the protect down hole tubular and equipment.

Application ACI-INT is used in 15% HCl acid solutions at ratios of 30 lbs / 1000
gallons at exposure temperatures of 300 F and increasing in concentration
to 110 lbs / 1000 gallons at exposure temperatures of 400 F. For use in
28% HCl acid solutions the recommended ratios are 25 lbs / 1000 gallons at
exposure temperatures of 250 F and increasing in concentration to 100 lbs /
1000 gallons at exposure temperatures of 325 F. ACI-INT is not a
corrosion inhibitor and under no circumstances should it be used as such.
For temperatures higher than those listed the addition of Formic Acid to the
HCl acid solutions is recommended to extend the use range of HCl acid
solutions.

ACI-INT is a very heavy material and is slowly soluble in HCl acid

solutions at ambient temperature however it is very soluble at temperatures
above 200 F. ACI-INT should be added to the acid solution while pumping
downhole or strong agitation of the acid in the storage tank should be used
to maintain the ACI-INT in suspension until it completely dissolves.

Compatibility Do not expose skin, eyes or clothing to ACI-INT. Flush skin with copious
amounts of water. Wash clothing before wearing. For eyes flush with
water and get medical attention immediately

Handling/Storage Store in a cool dry place.

Packaging ACI-INT is available in 50 pound fiber kegs.
