Warranty
ec

The manufacture warrants in parts and workmanship for one year from date of
shipment, and is limited to repair or replacement of the product only.
el

This warranty does not apply to defects resulting from action of the user such as
ht

misuse, improper wiring, operation outside of specification, improper maintenance or

repair, or unauthorized modification.
ig

Warning
hl

This product is constructed for providing operating two variables voltage channels
ig

between 0 ~ 30 V @ 0 ~ 5 A DC and one fixed voltage 5 V / 3 A DC at the output

terminals.
.h

For the variable outputs, the power consumption of the load must not exceed 5 A DC.
If the current is exceeded the power supply is overloaded.
w

Do not operate the power supply in damp, hazardous environment or outdoors.

Operation
1. The Power Supply must be powered using the rated line voltage (240 +/- 10%.

u
VAC 50 HZ).

.a
2. Always keep good ventilation at the rear of the power supply, and do not use
the power supply where a temperature exceeds 45°C.

m
3. Before turning the power supply ON, remove all connected loads and set the

co
Voltage Adjustment Knob to the full counter-clockwise position (0V DC output).

4. To operate the power supply as a constant current supply, the current output

s.
should be set between 10% and 100% of the rated value (5A). The Current
Limiting Indicator will light when the current limiting circuit is activated.

ic
5. Use the Current and Voltage Adjustment Knobs for setting variable Current

on
and Voltage output signals respectively. Use Variable Output Terminals for
connections.
tr
6. For 5VDC/3A output, use the Fixed Output Terminals.
ec

7. The digital displays will indicate actual current and voltage outputs for each
channel.
el

8. Keep the meter's cooling vents (rear & sides) clear of obstacles to prevent
ht

overheating.

9. Make sure good and tight connection between terminals and loads.
ig

10. Constant Voltage Mode (each channel setup independently)

hl

a. Disconnect any load from terminals and turn the Voltage Adjustment
ig

Knob to the end of CCW (0 VDC).

b. Check that the AC cable and source are good and correct.
.h

c. Press the Power Switch ON. The LED windows will be light up which
indicating that the power supply is in the operation state.
w

d. Turn the Current Adjustment Knob to the fully CW position.

w

e. Turn the Voltage Adjustment Knob to obtain a desired voltage.

f. Connect the load to the output terminals. The output terminals are
w

floated from ground. Either one can be grounded as required.

g. If an overloading or short circuit occurred at the output terminals, the
maximum over current will be the rated current with output voltage
drops. The power supply will be automatically reverted to its normal
operation once the external overloading or short circuit removed.

11. Constant Current Mode (each channel setup independently)

a. Disconnect any load from terminals.
b. Check that the AC cable and source are good and correct.
c. Press the Power Switch ON. The LED windows will be light up which
indicating that the power supply is in the operation state.
d. Adjust the voltage to a value between 3 ~ 10 V range.
e. Turn the Current Adjustment Knob to CCW fully (Zero).
f. Short the output terminals between positive and negative.

u
g. Adjust the current CW to a required value by monitoring the current
LED window.

.a
h. Remove the jumper lead.
i. Adjust the voltage to a required value between 0 ~ 30 V.

m
j. Check the CC mode by shorting output terminals again by monitoring
the current LED window.

General Observations on Safety

s.
ic
When it may be necessary to replace a blown fuse it is essential that pull the power
lead out from the power source and a replacement fuse must have same physical

on
dimension and electrical rating (voltage and current).

If the replacement fuse keeps blown, pull off the power lead and check or disconnect
tr
the external device.
ec

Never repair a blown fuse.

Do not operate or maintenance the power supply when its cover removed.
el

Always keep good ventilation around the power supply.

ht

Place the power supply on a hard, flat and flame resistant surface.
