In pursuance to the provisions contained in section 87A of the Haryana Municipal Corporation Act 1994, to be read with notification
No. S.O. 85/H.A. 16/1994/S. 87/2013 dated 11-10-2013, every property owner/occupier liable to pay the property tax in accordance
to the self-assessment policy so introduced which is not complied by you and failed to pay the property tax accordingly. The notice
served upon you contains the area of the plot, floor wise carpet area, status of the property either self occupied/rented along with the
computed annual property tax for your ready reference to assess the property tax on your part for payment of property tax and in
case you find any deviation in the data so provided in the notice, the self-assessment to property tax be commuted on your part for
payment of property tax within the period of due date after necessary correction. In case there is any discrepancy/objection in this
notice you can file self-assessment which shall be subject to the satisfaction of this Municipal Corporation authority who is
competent to verify your voluntary declaration in consonance to Section 87B and 87C of the Haryana Municipal Corporation Act,
1994. In case of wrong declaration the owner/occupier shall be liable to pay penalty equal to tax evaded in case of variation of Tax
is more than 10%. The owner /occupier shall also be liable to pay penalty equal to the amount of the tax evaded. In case of late
payment, interest @ 1.5% per month or part thereof shall be charged.
