MTECH THESIS
Deep Learning Application in Conditioning Monitoring (supervisor Prof. N. S. Vyas) (June’19- Present)

Objective  To develop a multi-label deep learning protocol for identification of typical faults occurring in railway bogie
 The raw time-domain data from 12 different sensors was first converted into acceleration type, followed by FFT
Methodology
 Implemented a CNN based customized deep learning architecture to diagnose faults in the railway bogie
 The model is predicting with 99.7% accuracy when tested by single-fault data and 74.4% when tested by multi-
Achievements
fault data. The work is in progress for improving accuracy of the model for Single-fault training, multi-fault testing
COURSE PROJECTS .

Multi-Task Learning in Natural Language Processing (Guide: Prof. Harish Karnick) (Jan’18- Apr’18)
 Objective: To learn Part of Speech and Chunking tasks with shared knowledge of each other using multi task learning techniques
 Studied different Deep Learning networks to infer what knowledge to share, and accordingly achieve better performance
 Implemented different Multi Task learning networks like Low Level Supervision, Cross Stitch and Sluice Networks
 Employed LSTM (Long Short Term Memory) network units and sharing parameters for designing the deep recurrent neural networks
 Achievement: Best performance with accuracy of 94.6% for main task (Chunk Tagging) was obtained using Sluice Networks
Human-Driven Commercial 4-wheel drive Electric Vehicle (Guide: Prof. Ramprasad Potlari) (Summer Project Aug’17- Nov’17)
● Fork suspension assembly was designed in DS Solidworks-16
● Static and fatigue analysis of fork was done in ANSYS for weight optimization and material selection, Manufacturing mainly involves
Water jet machining, welding, Milling, Forging
● Chassis is designed on Solidworks-16 and Impact analysis of chassis was done on ANSYS’16
INTERNSHIP EXPERIENCE
Machine Learning Intern, iSMRITI (May’19-Aug’19)
Objective  To develop a predictive model to monitor and forecast faults in the industrial multivariate time series data
 Understood the sequential working of the plant, Implemented t-SNE to visualise and analyse the outliers
 Implemented standard processes for cleaning the dataset, like filling missing values, altering outliers
Methodology
 Developed a CNN based customized deep learning architecture to monitor and forecast faults in Industrial
Multivariate time series data,
Achievement  The model is predicting up to two month of accurate forecast in just 3-5 seconds
 Assisted in designing the backend for automated grading using nbgrader
 Mentored a class of 400 students in a 40 days AI workshop conducted by iSMRITI
Miscellaneous
 Developed a small scale Natural Language Semantic Search engine for text, by using TensorFlow and NLTK
libraries, and achieved the best performance with accuracy of 82.3% using LSTM neural network
