My English Class
Today is my first day of being a college student, my first class is English class. I am really excited. My
class is quite big. There are 20 students from different places and majors. Some of them are from the
same major as me, Bio-technology. They are Leli, Mira, Susi, Andrew and Jeff. Leli is from Padang. She
stays with her sister in Iromejan. Mira is from the same area as me, Jakarta. But she lives in a boarding
house next to my grandma’s house in Klitren. Susi and Andrew are from West Kalimantan. Susi is from
Ketapang, while Andrew is from Pontianak. They are cheerful persons. The last person of our group is
Jeff. He is from Timika, Papua. His friend, Boy, is in the same class as we are. But Boy’s major is Archi-
tecture. Both of them live quite far from campus, in Seturan area. I am happy to have so many new
friends. I hope that we can be good friends.
