CHAPTER 1

THE PROBLEMS AND ITS SETTING


Background of the Study

Classroom management is one of the important aspects in


teaching English classroom management that used by the
teacher can influence the teaching English so the teacher English
are challenged should be able to manage the class including
creating and maintaining of the optimal learning conditions.

In Malaysia ( Wong 2005) stated that classroom


management style constitute creating an environment and
attitude towards the student that is predictable consistent
oriented. it is the duty of educators to move away from a one
size fit all approach to individualized standards of performance.

In Italy (Emmer and stough 2001) Stated that managing is


a daunting task most teacher face challenge to ensure a
harmonies atmosphere in the classroom.

In Bohol (Castolo 2007) Stated that classroom


management is a situational phenomenon; there are no
universal prescription for student control under all
circumtances.
In Manila (Ramos 2009) Stated that classroom
management is istablishing effective discipline have always been
areas of concern for teacher.

In Baculin (Nazareno 2015) Stated that classroom


management arev discipline and lists secret of success from
teacher with very good classroom.

In Bobonao (Mangguiob 2019) Stated that classroom


management are satisfactory of classroom management
because its determine teaching to success.

Statement of the Problem

The purpose of the study was determine the


Classroom Management Studies towards Student Learning
Behavior among Grade 7 Student in San Luis National High
School S.Y 2019 2020 this aims to answer the following
question:
1. What is the level of Classroom Management Studies among
Grade 7 Students in San Luis National High School in terms
of:

1.1 interaction during the class


1.2 teacher student personal communication
1.3 psychological and social classroom management
1.4 organization of the lesson
2. What is the level of Student Learning Behavior among
Grades 7 Student in San Luis National High School in terms
of:
2.1 Grades

3. Is there any significant relationship between the level of


Classroom Management Studies towards Student Learning
Behavior

Hypothesis

The null hypothesis will be tasted 0.05 level of


significant relationship between the level of Classroom
Management Studies towards Student Learning Behavior
among Grade 7 Student in San Luis National
Review of Related Literature

In this section includes varied source such as books


journals newspaper and internet source on the Classroom
Management towards Student Learning Behavior.

as Independent Variable and Student Learning Behavior as
Dependent Variable: Synthesis will be provide to give

Theoretical and Conceptual Framework

This study revealed that there is no significant different


in the perception of understanding of the four classroom
management factors content management conduct convenient
management and time (Grapragasem 2015) In other research
autonomy supportive teaching learning environment reported
that students have greater interests effort relatedness and
integrated compared to the usage of traditional approach
(Noman Kaura 2014)

Significance of the Study

This study is important in determining the Classroom


Management Studies towards Student Learning Behavior. The
following are the beneficiaries after the completion of the study.

School Administrator. The result of this study may


help the school administrator to provide qualified faculties
needed by the student.

Faculty Member. The result of the study may help the


faculty member for them to incorporate best method and
approaches to help student to cope up with academic.
Parents. This study is significant to parents in the
sense that they will know the positive and negative
Effects of Students Attitude to their children.

Students. This study may help the student to


have a guide and to be aware of the role of their parents in
learning activities.

Future Researchers. The study may help the future


researcher to further improve their study not just adhering
Students Attitude but going to beyond the limit with
understanding to improve the performance of the student.

Definition of Terms:

The following terminology use in this study are defined


operationally for clarity and common frame of reference.

Classroom Management. Classroom management is


structured teachers build students own ability to self - regulate
and develop Students attitude and behavior (Peter 2008)
Student Learning Behavior. We see our world own
lens and our experience are shape by what we perceive and how
we interpret the message from the experience we encountered.

San Luis National High School. Are a public school


here in Davao Oriental offer a Senior High School under the
Division of Davao Oriental.
