About Us
United Foundation of Central Florida, Inc., (UFCF) is a 501 C3
public foundation formed in 2014 to bridge the gaps in our family,
educational, and mentoring needs using a holistic approach. Focused
on early intervention, leading to prevention. With a mission to
partner and unite with local community and neighborhood
organizations, to positively transform families and individuals,
utilizing early intervention and educational resources.

Through our programs and services, we’ve aided in increasing Maynard
Evans High School graduation rate from 48% to 94%.
March 2018, the foundation took 27 of our student scholars from
Maynard Evans High School to Washington, D.C. to participate in the
“March for Our Lives” Rally. In addition to this we took them on college
tours of Howard University, American University, and George
Washington University.

have a Youth Advisory Committee developing and implementing Free
Youth Driven Programming with topics such as but not limited to
financial literacy, drug/violence prevention, job preparedness, the
importance of voting, etc.
Donated $10,000+ clothing & products for homeless students.
Over 300+ students have been mentored through our programs.
Where Do Our Scholars Go After High School?
Our Scholars have committed to schools such as but not limited to Morehouse
College, Clark Atlanta University, Bethune-Cookman University, Florida
Agricultural & Mechanical University, University of Central Florida, Florida
State University, Rollins College, Wake Forest University, University of
South Florida, University of Florida, University of North Florida, Valencia
College, Seminole State College, Grand Canyon University, University of the
Virgin Islands, and Florida International University.

Programs and Services
Exposes student scholars to STE(A)M Education, College Readiness,
Life after high school, Leadership through service to the community.
Bridging gaps in both educational and mentoring needs in our
communities using a holistic approach.
T.E.A.M. Mentoring Program
The acronym T.E.A.M. stands for Together Each Achieves More this
program provides mentors to children ages 4-24 during school hours
in Elementary, Middle and High School. Focuses on the 5C’s of Youth
Development: Competence, Confidence, Connection, Character, Caring
and Compassion.
College Tours Program
Designed to introduces high school juniors, seniors, and their families
to the admissions process, academic opportunities and campus life.
Campus tours give prospective students/families a look into life of the
college/university students, including academics, campus resources,
residential life and much more.
Pine Hills Forward (LYNX Pine Hills Transit Center)
The Students of FLU and Board of Directors of UFCF have engaged
in conversation that has helped fuel the design of the center. This
center will promote economic competitiveness, sustainability and
quality of life in the area while simultaneously advancing a dynamic
transit system and delivering a seamless network of services by
enhancing customer experiences.
Beyond the Future Leaders United Program
In 2017, the foundation established a scholarship fund that would be
awarded to the scholars that complete the program and have met all
requirements set by the board of directors and our scholarship
sponsors. As of May 2019, the foundation has awarded over $50,000 in
scholarships to 78+ Alumni.
2016-2019 The foundation has graduated 83+ scholars from the after-
school program. These scholars have gone on to chase their dreams
whether it be seeking higher education, certifications in their trade, or
serving the country in the United States Military.
