Credit transfers relate to the granting of status or credit by SAI
Global to students for units of competency completed at SAI Global
or any other Registered Training Organisation (RTO).

Are you eligible for a credit transfer?


Credit transfer is the granting of status or credit by an institution or
training organisation to students for modules (subjects) or units of
competency completed at the same or another institution or training
organisation.

If you have completed past studies in areas related to the qualifica-


tion you plan to enrol in, you may be eligible for credit transfer.
You will need to provide documentation of your past study so an
assessor can make a decision about whether a credit transfer can be
granted.

What are units of competency?


A unit of competency is a single component of a qualification, or a
stand-alone unit, that has been accredited by the same process as
for a whole AQF qualification.

What type of information is required?
